The best thing about HoW is how all gear was allowed to be relevant due to an 'end game' drop in Etheric Light, that gave everyone a reason to keep playing past the end of the content to level up all their stuff. I just wish they never scrapped that system a few months later for the new light level system in TTK, that we still have now, I can't stand it. And obviously RoI was great when it started out.
If Chris had a major role in the direction of these updates (his title suggests he did) then I'd be more than happy for him to be the big boss man that pulls all the strings, he seems to understand what people enjoy about Destiny, and Luke could be a design lead for raids, because he's damn good at that.

Like what exactly? I'm not sure of what he's been involved in, but I've heard in other posts that he's been responsible for HoW and RoI, which were personally my favourite updates, not necessarily for content, but for quality of life improvements, if that same quality of life stuff came with Luke's content designs, then I think that would be a good combination, but as I said, I'm not sure as to the extent of his influence throughout the game.
