And even then, based on your own logic, that would only mean those improvements were being worked on before they actually released. Also, the Bungie office isn't separated with 10m thick concrete into dev team and live team. They work in the same building! They go to lunch at the same little cafe downstairs (or whatever), they have this magical thing called "email" and these weird rituals called "meetings" where they share knowledge and experience about their work. Sorry, but that's a reeeeeally bad and unfounded reason to give them credit right now. Here, I'll redact it for you... *takes back credit that was given*
