I just read the TWAB and I’m fairly pleased. This guy 1. Gives a shit, 2. Knows his shit, 3. doesn’t cater to fanboys, just gets shit done. I like that.

How do you know he "gives a shit" or "knows his shit"?? This was probably mostly the work of the community management team and their live team's first few sets of data rolling in. You think this guy took the individual initiative to draft up this list of improvements and sent it out himself to DeeJ to put in the TWAB?! Man there's a serious amount of naivety around here recently - must be all the long-time fans of Bungie and hardcore Guardians leaving and making room for naive fanboys to get catered to. Which brings me to my next point: How can you say he's not catering to fanboys and pandering the crap out of the whole playerbase!? That's literally EXACTLY what he's doing, and clearly it worked on you! He said "improve this, change this, make this better" and you said "we're saved!". Lmfao man you got played. You got played real real hard.

The fanboys straight up freaked about the thorn and felwinter combo and he told them to sit on it. Ahhh...those were the days. Hope your butthurt clears up, kid

HoW era lasted like 4 months. VoG and TTK are widely considered to be the best parts of D1's lifespan and those were both developed and implemented by Luke Smith and his team. (Who also are responsible for D2 so......) I'm only butthurt because softies like you wanna suck this guy's dong because he's such a "hero". Hope you enjoy your pandering bullshit, champ.
