As luck would have it...
6:00 PM
Angelo had found a restaurant and decided to change out of his military gear. No leg armour, pistol strapped to his side or helmet on his head. He had removed the bandanna from his hair, styling it as he usually did (see above). He was dressed in darker jeans, a mint green button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up and first few buttons undone: casual, but a bit dressier. He was nervous, something like this not something he had done often or recently, though he did a good job at concealing the nervousness. He stepped out of his room, phone in pocket and knife well concealed on himself (can't have no protection), as he turned to lock the door.
Splash only. Have Lohi harass him before if you'd like, or just have him head straight to the meeting spot
Blake sighed. He knew exactly what he wanted. The waiter requested them to place an order. He gestured to Angelo.
-
"Fettuccine Alfredo, please." He says, as he hands his menu back to the waiter.
-
"Cheese enchilada," Blake said, doing the same. Lohi kept snapping pictures without either of then knowing.
-
Angelo was unaware of his teammate being there, trying to think of something to say to his partner across from him to get to know him better. "Hey, are you into music?"
-
"Anything that's fast-paced," Blake told him, "And some rock."
-
"I've always enjoyed rock. Like you said, anything faster paced. Have always harboured a soft spot for jazz though." He says
-
"Is because it's smooth like you?" Blake asked jokingly.
-
"With a comment like that I don't think I'm the smooth one here." He says grinning a bit
-
Blake laughed a bit. Lohi continued to snap photos discreetly.
-
"In all honesty though, I've always liked it just for the flow that it has. One sound just connects perfectly with another in jazz to me. Maybe it's just me though." He said, taking a sip of his drink
-
"I'm not OCD so patterns that are not on sync don't mess with me."
-
"It's not even that it messes me, trust me I'm far from OCD, it just sounds nice to me."
-
Lohi was tryimg not to yell, Kiss, kiss, kiss. Blake shrugged.
-
"Alright, What about books? I would think you're more of an action person, though I've been wrong before."
-
"I rarely read," Blake said.
-
"I've always been a bit of a reader. Then again, I travelled a bit, so It was something I could take with me anywhere. One of the reasons I've actually learned a good few languages."
-
"Hmph," Blake sighed. Lohi muttered, "Pointless small talk, the reason I don't date."
-
Angelo tried to think of something g else to say, though he was enjoying just being with Blake
-
"Oh my god, just kiss," Lohi yelled. Then she just left the table, heading to bathroom, hood of hoodie still up, before they could notice.
-
He looked over as he heard it Was that- no, it couldn't have been Lohi. You're just nervous. That's it... He thought to himself, as he returned his attention to Blake. "Was that directed at us or..." He said
-
"I'm pretty sure it was. Whoever yelled it at us," Blake said.
-
"I don't know. Looks like we have fans." He said jokingly, seeming to have become a bit more comfortable with people seeing them together.
-
He grinned. A few minutes later, the waitor returned with their food.
-
Angelo thanked the waiter as the food arrived, as he began to eat
-
Blake ate at a medium pace.
