[i]"In the kitchen..." Natalie said, shaking off a feeling of suspicion as she sat down on the couch. "Towels are in the hallway closet."[/i]

"Thanks." She went off for a few minutes before coming back, drying her hair with a towel. Her jacket was now tied around her waist, revealing an old Guns N'Roses '88 tour shirt. "These clothes are going to smell like sh*t for a while sadly..."

[i]"I think my clothes might be a bit big on you, but do you need something to wear?" Natalie was only a few inches taller than the woman, though her clothes were extremely tight in a lot of cases, since she usually had some sort of hoodie to wear. Though she was willing to offer something up. [/i]

"I think I'll be fine unless you'd rather not have me stinking up the place with the smell of a low quality bar. Oh, the name's Star by the way. We haven't really told each other our names." Star sat down on the couch with a sigh of relief.

[i]"Natalie, though you would probably know me as "That bîtch!" If you ask around the building," Nat jokingly responded, as she went to the fridge in the kitchen. "Want a drink?" [/i]

Star light chuckled at the joke. "May I have some water? I think I've had enough beer for tonight...or at least I'm taking a break for an hour or so. I probably have a problem."

[i]"Alright, but if your 'water' later tonight leaves a burn in the back of your throat, don't say I didn't warn you." Natalie got Star a bottle of water after pouring herself some coke. She sat down on the couch once more and handed Star her drink, leaning back afterwards. "So, what happened in the bar with those guys?" [/i]

Star happily took the water with a smile and drank from it before shrugging and telling her story. "I dunno really. I mean, I just maybe sorta overreacted to one of them catcalling and maybe sorta broke a chair over his head....Then kneed another one of them in the nuts because he came at me and then threw my glass at another...." She slowly took a sip of her water and looked down at the ground. "I was totally in control as you could see."

[i]"I can tell, only someone in complete control of a situation and themself would do that." Natalie chuckled slightly and took a sip from her drink. "How did you get so badly beaten if you hit one over the head with a chair?" [/i]

Star shook her head and laughed. "There were a lot of them and I only got in a few hits because I struck first. I don't exactly punch very hard or well. I like to stick to my guns when it comes to a fight."

[i]"Because screw the police who try to follow up on random shootings in the night, right?" [/i]

"I could've beat them easily if I used my guns, but no one had to die over something so stupid. This also wasn't the first nor will it be the last time I get my pretty face punched in."

"I seem to only attract people that want to punch my face in. I dunno. Ask one of the so called gods. Maybe one of them know why the f*ck I'm cursed."

Star laughed a little. "I exaggerated just a tad, okay?"

[i]"I hadn't noticed," Nat jokingly shot back. [/i]

"Pfff. Suuure." Star nudged Nat a little with a smile.

[i]"So, think you'll be fine tonight? Those guys might try to look for you, you know." [/i]

"Do you think so?...Ugh. There's no way I could run in this condition and I still don't think it would be worth pulling my gun on them."

[i]"Do you need to stay here for the night? I don't mind grabbing a few blankets for the couch." [/i]

Star sighed and nodded. "If it wouldn't be too much for you. I just don't feel like going back at night like this."

[i]"Oh don't worry about it, Ill get you a couple of blankets," Nat said as she stood, heading to the hallway closet. She pulled out two blankets and a spare pillow, bringing it to the couch a minute after. [/i]

Star yawned as Nat entered the room again. "Thank you so much again, Natalie."

[i]"Don't worry about it, I've been in this same situation once or twice." [/i]

"Well, I'll pay you back somehow. I wouldn't want this to be a lopsided deal."
