I had fun at the beginning of the journey. Then I don't know what happened. The final nail in the coffin for me was the absence of prestige raid rewards.
This time around I had the belief that D2 would pick up where year 3 left off. Not a few steps behind vanilla. I am Jack's broken dream.
How are you guys finding the game at this point? How are you spending your time when online? Or are you taking a break till the expansion?
Edit: Trending. I would like to thank you all for your contributions. It isn't satisfying for me that this post has so many people in agreement. I respect that the developers put in long hours and massive amounts of energy to craft Destiny 2. I understand that the product at launch is a foundation that will be built on in time. However, when you review the constructive feedback and the similar ideas from a variety of Guardians. It is genuinely surprising that Bungie didn't anticipate these issues would eventuate. Sadly this culminates in a validation of the title. At this point in time "D2 is Disappointing".

Edited by YourMother1972: 10/22/2017 9:58:33 AMI played Destiny 1 almost from the start and used three characters to play as much as i could being a father, husband and employee. Over 2000 hours was spent on raids, nightfalls and mainly the Crucibles. The beta of Destiny 2 was a warning already, but once the game entered my PS4 i was impressed by the Red War campaign. Great missions, amazing cutscenes and finally a nice story to be told. Once that was finished the public events, the heroic versions of those public events and exotic quests kept me busy for another week as i was levelling up. I really had high hopes for the guided games since i don't have friends that play Destiny 2 on the same system at the same times but that was a huge disapointment. I had no need to stare at my screen for half an hour so i just skipped them and the raid along after many negative comments about the loot. Now i am at a point that i have three characters being bored as hell cause there is nothing to play for. Without matchmaking or a proper guided system i will not play Nightfalls and Raids and the other weekly challenges take an hour per characters and that is where Destiny 2 is at. After watching yesterday's video i don't have much hope for the next DLC or season as they call it. Much cosmetics again, much Everest buying and a loot system that is not changing as it seems. I do have some sparks of hope as they stated they would look at lone wolves playing in the Crucibles and some sort of change for perks (although they would remain fixed) so i will give them the benefit of a serious doubt but if that season shows they don't want to adapt the game more in favor of die-hard players then there is not much hope of a good sequel to Destiny 1 i guess. Meanwhile Titanfall 2 is downloaded and Battlefront 2 is ordered so let's see who wins my favor in 2018.
