[i]What the rider of the griffon would see would be the seemingly magical capabilities of the sword, thus she immediately steered her griffon to the side, literally swinging the polearm towards the whip and catching it. The result caused the whip to smolder and return back into it's sword form - it was as if the lance itself countered all forms of magical properties, least to some degree, as it's tip flickered with burning flame.[/i]
[i]The result allowed the griffon to get close, flapping overhead the balrog as it's throat gurgled, before it released a barrage of sickly green acid upon the creature.[/i]
