Honestly if you find is disappointing it means you overhyped it and didn’t learn from destiny 1’s release.

Shouldn't bungie be the one that learned from vanilla destiny release? Shouldn't they have been the ones to learned what people liked and didn't like over the last three years and build on that? How is it ok that bungie three years later still doesn't listen to what it's players want?

Edited by Smough: 10/24/2017 7:07:41 AMWell for the last three years of destiny 1’s life destiny 2 was being developed. So I’m sure once certain foundations were set for destiny 2 not much could change it. Not only that but bungie has listened a lot surprisingly, it’s just that this community is so split that once one side stops complaining another side starts. In fact there are few changes in destiny 2 that haven’t been brought up or argued about before, one of the few is of course 4v4 only crucible.
-
No I don’t think that is entirely fair. I have over 3000 hours in D1 and as a game on its own D2 is disappointing.
-
Perhaps you find it disappointing because it’s a different experience to destiny 1 and you’re also burned out of destiny after 3k hours (too much) playing. With a game so similar yet so different like destiny 2 it’s bound to be disappointing for really hard core destiny 1 players.

That’s still 100 hours of playing a game very similar to destiny 2.
That’s still 100 hours of playing a game very similar to destiny 2.
So? I played h2 for like 5000 hours and played h3 and reach tons too.

If you’ve really played halo 2 and 3 that much but didn’t play destiny 1 for as long it means you didn’t like the game as much as halo 2 and 3. If you didn’t like it as much it would make sense that a sequel would not hold your interest for very long.

That is correct.
-
I expected it to be like d1 vanilla. Its not even that.
-
Of course not, it’s better. If destiny 2 had a better raid and a more diverse crucible I doubt anybody could make a good argument as to why destiny 1’s vanilla was better.
-
I expected it to be like d1 vanilla. Its not even that.
Please expand on this.

I actually waited 2 weeks because I was so disgusted with the game changes traded in games so I didn't waste actual cash on it came in with extremely negative expectations and still the game managed to sink below my already rock bottom expectations.
-
And what were your expectations? I too set my expectations very low, burying my hype and looking back at my experience with destiny 1. Even though I won’t be playing destiny 2 as much as destiny 1 (due to less reason to grind) I’ll still enjoy it just as much.
-
If you had real rock bottom expectations then you're a moron for buying it in the first place. so many idiots on these forums. Its the easiest duck hunt ever.
-
Your gonna be a pc player I presume right? 4K and uncapped frame rate won’t fix this game. Good content and meaningful content will
-
Because I decided to try it knowing it wasn't gonna be good? Because I've been playing destiny from day 1? I believe in this franchise even though it's had it's faults? Because I can hope the game gets better even though it's in a bad place? Because your a little bitch who has no life except trying to "troll" people in the forums of a game you were either also enough stupid enough to buy or are pathetic enough to try and act cool in the forums of a game you don't own or play. Gonna have to try somewhere else bub you just aren't that good.
-
yup!!! They are all a bunch of millennial losers.
-
I wouldn’t say that. They were just blinded by their experience with destiny 1 and when something similar yet very different released they were disappointed.
-
I'm willing to bet my paycheck you're a millennial as well. Seeing as you made an account several days ago with no characters and all you do is talk shit.
-
Then bet your paycheck right now. Post your info. I'll come get it. You are a liar.
-
Post my info? Are you special ed? You're talking like the cool kid at the back of the short bus, saying the dumbest shit ever. Then you want my paycheck on a bet you have yet to prove on. I'm still waiting for some sort of evidence that you're not a 12 year old little shitbag.
-
Probably gen z. Millennials are ages 37-17 currently. We are the offspring of baby boomers.
-
More garbage from a baby cry D1 player? You are a chicken shit.
