"I don't know...I'd love to see a skilled swordswoman at work up close and personal." He laughed again before letting go of her shoulders, but remaining on top of her. "You are really cute though. Wouldn't mind sparring with you more if you don't find me too annoying."

"Mm. You could be worse.. you're not ridiculously сocky, and you can actually pull off a pretty good fistfight, so.." [i]Arianna smiled a little, nodding as she rose up a little. She still sat down, looking at the shorter Bedlam - though they were roughly the same height when on the ground.[/i] "I'd be happy to continue."

Bedlam genuinely smiled and sat back, no longer on top of Arianna. "Sweet. The only sword fighting I know is fancy fencing from lessons years ago, so I may not be an equal opponent, but I'll try to help improve you."

"Fencing? Like, shit with a rapier, or an actual sword? Don't use a rapier unless it's somehow magic or something, useless on armor." [i]Arianna smiled, while she still sat for conversation that had continued onwards.[/i] "I use a nodachi, personally. A really big katana, to explain quickly."

"Rapier. It's questionably the best sword for a sword duel and because I'd usually have reliable magic I could make up for it not being great at bashing armour." Bedlam shifted a little to make sure he was comfortable, feeling like they might be talking for a while. He didn't mind getting to know each other better.

"Mm. Here I am, keeping at ranged encounters with my tools. Nodachi keeps me at range, I can cut through flesh with ease.. then it can transform into a rifle. Don't ask, a weird, yet slightly cute guy made it for me. Not as cute, nor as weird, as you. Anyway.. we can start whenever. You still have a rapier?"

"Aww, not as cute as me? Thank you. Good to know I'm unique enough to be more weird as well." He chuckled and then sighed. "Sadly I lost the family rapier, but it shouldn't be too hard to find a replacement...for training. Nothing will replace a blade as well forged as that rapier."

[i]Arianna had taken to something new: a longsword and shield combination, ramming the bladed weapon into a training dummy before tearing it out.[/i] "This is nice.. ready when you are."

"Uh huh....This is going to end up extremely painful for me..." Bedlam got into a simplistic stance with his sword out in front of him. He began circling Arianna.

"Pfft. It'll only end badly for you if I bash your head in with my shield. You'll be fine-!" [i]Oh, Ari intended to bash his head in.[/i] [i]As she approached, she kept a quite decent stance: her left side, consisting of her left arm and leg, was positioned in front of her right, so that her shield was held out and capable of more efficient blocking. She kept her right arm to the side, as if waiting for movement, matching that circling on her own.[/i]

Edited by Stitch: 10/16/2017 7:23:48 AMWith little confidence, Bedlam lunged forward with his blade pointed at Arianna's chest. He didn't fully remember what to do, but he did know he'd lose in the end. He just wanted to find the least painful way.

[i]Arianna would simply pull off a block, bringing her shield in and intercepting the needle-like blade, pushing it to Bedlam's left side. She immediately brought it back, towards his chest in order to push him back, keeping her weapon ready for parrying him.[/i]

Bedlam stepped back, his long reach easily allowing to be out of range from a shield bash. "This isn't going to get us anywhere...." He lunged forward, his free hand now being in front with his rapier behind his body.

"We can try teaching you to use a sword and shield- oh, a gun! You know how to use one, I hope?" [i]Arianna would respond, forced to back off as Bedlam returned in for an assault. Her shield arm was steadily lowering, as if she was tiring out.[/i]

"Finger guns count?" He said with a sheepish smile as he attempted to grab the outside of the shield and pull it away from Arianna.

"Maybe," [i]Arianna grunted, though she didn't let Bedlam take the advantage, suddenly bashing into Bedlam to get him off of her.[/i]

He stumbled back before lunging forward again, rolling to Arianna's side and slashing with his blade. "I actually have some experience."
