Someone had been making something of a pilgrimage through the mountains, he was really just trying to get away from it all and seek himself. But a person? All the way out here? He was really rather intrigued. He knew what this person was. A Guardian. He could see it. The soul being stuck to that terrible little machine that went against everything he used to stand for. He could see the stench of sin on this person, but not his own. His Ghost's. Ghosts prevented people from passing on, finally having their final rest. It was disrespectful, honestly. He'd been brought back a few times, and only appreciated it once. After a while, immortality drug on you. Sucking your sanity and empathy like a leech. It was awful. The man who was watching the other was a rather well-known figure, just in different attire. The first time he'd changed his attire in years, actually. He bore a white cloak around himself, along with white pants. His boots were white as well. In fact, all his clothes were white. All besides the mask that covered his face. It was blood-red, and shaped like a cat's. this man was Andrew Micheal Raidriar, a monster of a man. Physically and metaphorically. He was extremely tall, ten feet to be exact. At this end, he carried a massive blade, measuring fifteen feet long and a foot across. He used it like a walking stick, and the end was dulled. It looked like on purpose. It was just kept as a memento. Raid walked to this tiny cave, standing in the entranceway. He leaned on his sword, after planting it in the snow. "Eyes up, Guardian. Being in a slump isn't helping your case. I know what happened to you. To your friends. Upside of being Death's dad. But seriously, you're doing yourself no favors. Get off your ass and go do something. Moping around is just gonna make it worse. Trust me. I know."

 • "Then you must know that a guardian recently died his final death," Chase sighed, "Besides you're right. But that's not the entire reason I'm up here." He gestured to Puma who was finished with the tent, and was setting up a few meteorlogical instruments.

 • "Oh, yes, I know that a Guardian was put to rest. Which is good. Life is hell. It's hard to live. They finally got to sleep. You should be happy for them, quite frankly. The curse of immortality weighs on everyone after a while." Raid points over at Puma, sticking his thumb out. "Your Ghost is honestly just a really clever torture devise."

 • "Some of us have tried to remedy that curse you mentioned once it had weighed down on them. Well, so far, it hasn't done me too bad yet. So I really have no reason to be edgy. But this one Warlock I knew. She was edgy in all caps. To the point she replaced the lyrics XO TOUR Llif3 with tge word, Push me to the edge. They left me for dead. That was really spooky." Puma turned around, looking at Raid, "Excuse me?" "I'm sorry, but I am Chase's companion! We have seen it all together! What are you gonna say next, that our friendship is the result of Stockholm's disease!" Puma yelled.

 • "Um... Yeah. Pretty much. He doesn't exactly get a choice of if he gets to die or not. You kinda just bring him back. And Chase, I don't mean being edgy. I mean insanity. I know. I've been through it. And it's syndrome, not disease." Raid chuckles. "You're no warrior of Light, little Puma. You're a device created to help a dead being. Accept it. You matter about as much as the snow under our boots. Not saying I matter much more, but just a little bit. My daughter is Death, after all. Not saying that I'm better than you or anything. Just saying that you're a bit of a prick for bringing him back over and over again. Won't even give him a few days to rest between deaths."

 • "Well, she is insane," Chase muttered, "The edginess was a sign of that." Puma was enraged. Chase sensed this, "Puma, calm down, buddy." "No...." "Just get back to setting up your weather equipment." "He was mean to me! Aren't you going to do something." "He has a point. Puma. You are a bit of a prick," Chase told him. Puma flew right in front of Raid's face, "YOU THINK YOU CAN INSULT ME BY SPEAKING LIES! TO TRY TO SUADE MY TITAN TO JUST DIE FOREVER! WELL YOU WON'T AS LONG AS I'M STILL FLYING!" He set up another shelter for his equipment, and zipped himself up in it.

 • Raid looked over at the Ghost, his steely eyes now judging him. "You have no right over who lives and who dies. You are a maniac if you think reviving a dead man hundreds of times without his consent is a good thing to do. I didn't even say to let him stay dead. I said give him time to rest, tin can. I was messing around before, but you really are a prick, aren't you?"

 • "I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER YOUR CONSPIRACY BULLSHIT!" Puma yelled. Chase sighed, "He'll get over it after going through the 5 stages of grief."

 • "I've been through the stages a lot. I get it. Lost a lot of people. Including my entire race, actually. The last of the Mages. What a good showing I'm giving a war-loving race. A pacifist." Raid chuckles, looking back over at Chase. "I don't know what you expect to find. It won't be all that useful. The blizzard will stop any research you hope to do."

 • "I think that's what Puma is researching," he told Raid, "The climate."
