Snow and Solitude Ku Rudo Mounatains, 18:27 Chase sat alone on the western slope of one of the mountains, nearly fully armored, with a small fire going to keep himself warm. He had painted most of his armor black as a sign of mourning. Except for the helmet. The sun was setting on the horizon. And he watched it alone. The horizon cut off partially by the mountains in front of them. His plumed helmet sat next to him. His nose and cheeks cherry red from the freezing temperatures. His blue eyes were as icy as frozen river Chase had left his raven black hair unregulated for a couple weeks. It had started to grow out. It was still very short, nonetheless. A blizzard crept in from the Northeast. The cold, merciless, North wind picked up, blowing embers from the fire far away, threatening to rip off his mark. Loose snow blew around and clung to his hair, like buoy in a storm. His ears grew cold as the colder air collided with them. Puma appeared for a brief moment, "Chase, you might want to put on your helmet--" "'A blizzard is coming,'" Chase immitated, "I'm well aware, Puma. Just a few minutes." "Chase, please do it now, so you can retain your body heat. The heaters in your armor won't work as well to keep you warm, otherwise," his Ghost informed him. Chase sighed, putting his helmet on. "It has been several days since your last meal," Puma noted, "I understand that you're grieving, but you don't have to take it that extreme." The Titan looked to his gloved hands, clenching one of them into fist. "Puma...." "I would also reccomend you taking shelter. Your fire will be blown out by the wind. The storm will worsen once the sun sets." "Set up the shelter, Puma. I... just want a few more minutes." "I'm afraid you won't have that much time with how fast this blizzard is flying in. And it's a huge storm. It will last several days." "Just set up the shelter." "Yes, Guardian." Puma got right to it. Chase's eyes diverted from the horizon to the dying fire. He threw one last log onto it and watched it burn.
Open. Bored Asf.

Just interact.
• off in the distance inside the storm something lurked there. A faint glowing blue series of lights can be seen moving inside of it like its alive. What he wouldn't known was it was a dragon passing through the storm with little success as it was getting closer but didn't know he was there.

  • Puma ran scans of the area, but it did not dhow up in his scans. "What is that?" The Ghost wondered.

  • seemed to be getting closer as the strange lights got bigger as if whatever it was, happened to be flying their way. A soft flapping of wings can just barely be heard of the howling winds as the large mass seem to land somewhere nearby.

I advance through the swirling spiral of winter, sword ablaze through the frost, fueled by the Emperor's wrath. Steam pours off of my armour as internal clockwork diligently maintain homeostasis. A metal hand punches through the blanket of snow, cobalt metal fingers reminiscent of Freddy Krueger's own. I aim the handheld AA gun towards the gun, trigger finger reflexively dispensing justice in a quick burst from either barrel. The hand fidgets, the whole of the tech heretic fighting to survive. I raise the sword with a satisfying shiing! before vigorously plunging it into the snow. A small green explosion erupts from the ground, sending my onto my back. • Anton wasn't too far off, wearing a thick cloak with a hood as he went along. He marched slowly, keeping himself fully under the cloak, until the sun finally fell beneath the horizon. He then pulled the hood back a little bit, revealing his pale features, and peered out at the horizon for a moment before looking forward once again, where he noticed the guardian. He continued forward, his piercing red eyes gazing at the ghost and him as he got closer. He approached and at last, greeted them, talking with a light, yet noticeable accent. "Hello, traveler, what brings you so far out here?"

  • Chase gestured to Puma, who was setting up meteorlogical equipment. "Neither of us had the chance to really explore this planet. And Puma wants me to stay here for a month so he can monitor the climate in this region as I reflect on recent events."

  • "Wow... well that's quite a bit of stuff to do." Antons eyes looked toward Puma. "I can tell you that there isn't much to monitor all the way out here except for this miserable weather all the time." He looked back at Chase. "And did something happen?"

  • "The armor gave it away, didn't it?" The Titan asked.

  • "Well that and 'recent events' usually means something significant. Plus... I just I have good sense for people." He smiled and revealed his large and sharp canine teeth.

  • He stared at the teeth for a minute. He stepped back. "Are you.... some sort of vampire?"

  • "What?" He laughed. "Oh no, my appearance is just how I was born unfortunately..." He stayed in place as Chase moved back.

  • "Oh... how... unfortunate..." He still didn't seem trustworthy about not being a vampire, as he wasn't very cold even in the freezing weather.

  • "Well if you prefer not to have my company, I can always go marching out somewhere else in this frozen mountain range." He said pettily.

  • Someone had been making something of a pilgrimage through the mountains, he was really just trying to get away from it all and seek himself. But a person? All the way out here? He was really rather intrigued. He knew what this person was. A Guardian. He could see it. The soul being stuck to that terrible little machine that went against everything he used to stand for. He could see the stench of sin on this person, but not his own. His Ghost's. Ghosts prevented people from passing on, finally having their final rest. It was disrespectful, honestly. He'd been brought back a few times, and only appreciated it once. After a while, immortality drug on you. Sucking your sanity and empathy like a leech. It was awful. The man who was watching the other was a rather well-known figure, just in different attire. The first time he'd changed his attire in years, actually. He bore a white cloak around himself, along with white pants. His boots were white as well. In fact, all his clothes were white. All besides the mask that covered his face. It was blood-red, and shaped like a cat's. this man was Andrew Micheal Raidriar, a monster of a man. Physically and metaphorically. He was extremely tall, ten feet to be exact. At this end, he carried a massive blade, measuring fifteen feet long and a foot across. He used it like a walking stick, and the end was dulled. It looked like on purpose. It was just kept as a memento. Raid walked to this tiny cave, standing in the entranceway. He leaned on his sword, after planting it in the snow. "Eyes up, Guardian. Being in a slump isn't helping your case. I know what happened to you. To your friends. Upside of being Death's dad. But seriously, you're doing yourself no favors. Get off your ass and go do something. Moping around is just gonna make it worse. Trust me. I know."

  • "Then you must know that a guardian recently died his final death," Chase sighed, "Besides you're right. But that's not the entire reason I'm up here." He gestured to Puma who was finished with the tent, and was setting up a few meteorlogical instruments.

  • "Oh, yes, I know that a Guardian was put to rest. Which is good. Life is hell. It's hard to live. They finally got to sleep. You should be happy for them, quite frankly. The curse of immortality weighs on everyone after a while." Raid points over at Puma, sticking his thumb out. "Your Ghost is honestly just a really clever torture devise."

  • "Some of us have tried to remedy that curse you mentioned once it had weighed down on them. Well, so far, it hasn't done me too bad yet. So I really have no reason to be edgy. But this one Warlock I knew. She was edgy in all caps. To the point she replaced the lyrics XO TOUR Llif3 with tge word, Push me to the edge. They left me for dead. That was really spooky." Puma turned around, looking at Raid, "Excuse me?" "I'm sorry, but I am Chase's companion! We have seen it all together! What are you gonna say next, that our friendship is the result of Stockholm's disease!" Puma yelled.

  • "Um... Yeah. Pretty much. He doesn't exactly get a choice of if he gets to die or not. You kinda just bring him back. And Chase, I don't mean being edgy. I mean insanity. I know. I've been through it. And it's syndrome, not disease." Raid chuckles. "You're no warrior of Light, little Puma. You're a device created to help a dead being. Accept it. You matter about as much as the snow under our boots. Not saying I matter much more, but just a little bit. My daughter is Death, after all. Not saying that I'm better than you or anything. Just saying that you're a bit of a prick for bringing him back over and over again. Won't even give him a few days to rest between deaths."

  • "Well, she is insane," Chase muttered, "The edginess was a sign of that." Puma was enraged. Chase sensed this, "Puma, calm down, buddy." "No...." "Just get back to setting up your weather equipment." "He was mean to me! Aren't you going to do something." "He has a point. Puma. You are a bit of a prick," Chase told him. Puma flew right in front of Raid's face, "YOU THINK YOU CAN INSULT ME BY SPEAKING LIES! TO TRY TO SUADE MY TITAN TO JUST DIE FOREVER! WELL YOU WON'T AS LONG AS I'M STILL FLYING!" He set up another shelter for his equipment, and zipped himself up in it.

  • Raid looked over at the Ghost, his steely eyes now judging him. "You have no right over who lives and who dies. You are a maniac if you think reviving a dead man hundreds of times without his consent is a good thing to do. I didn't even say to let him stay dead. I said give him time to rest, tin can. I was messing around before, but you really are a prick, aren't you?"

  • "I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER YOUR CONSPIRACY BULLSHIT!" Puma yelled. Chase sighed, "He'll get over it after going through the 5 stages of grief."
