*Sigh* Let's try and make a work of art bad guy like Light, shall we?

If you don't like Light then...well...screw you. He's awesome. If you don't know who he is look up "Death Note". There's a super edgy and cringy fanbase, but it's an awesome show.
Chapter 1: Wolf in Sheep's Clothing
Leaves rustled as the cold breeze pressed up against any exposed skin on those venturing outside. Little sunlight was to be seen because of the grey blanket of clouds up above drowning out the sun's warmth. The streets were soft, muddy from a heavy rain the day prior.
Outside the quiet town of Dojoville, yet another young man was walking up to the gates. He was abnormally average for the likes of the Dojo. His medium length hair a boring brown that matched his eye color, his skin color being that of an average caucasian, his walk showing no sign of mechanical limbs or injury, and his clothes rather dull compared to the flashy armour worn by the native warriors.
The boy fixed his red tie and made sure his white button up shirt was neatly tucked into his khakis as he approached the gate. He had a genuine friendly expression with a hint of confusion amd curiousity as he knocked.
"Hello?" He said with confidence.
Open. Let him in?

He is not a copy of Light. Only inspired by him. He has no "Death Note" and he does have a different personality...ish.
"I said Sera wouldn't care. I would be pissed off beyond all belief. I don't condone things like that. It's terrible. The only reason he would get a pass is because he's a god. He can't go to hell."
-
Edited by Stitch: 10/8/2017 2:46:02 AM"Eh....You're not the usual hypocritical b*tch. I think I can tolerate you a little more now." He suddenly closed his eyes and looked like he was focusing on something. "Hmm...The librarian is coming."
-
"Remember. If her daughter comes over here I don't wanna hear you cursing. I can't exactly do anything about it, but it's common courtesy."
-
"B*tch *** ***** piece of **** ***** **** *** **** ***********************." He then cleared his throat with a smirk. "I think I got it out of my system...not a hundred percent sure though."
-
"Better not say it in front of that innocent little girl. She's got enough problems with what she's trying to do. Soul magic. It's very, very dangerous."
-
"Soul magic, eh? Hmmm...interesting." Violet rounded the corner, a simple white cloak covering her body with a golden chain around her neck. "Hello, there. I'm Violet." "Jay."
-
Tails smiles at Violet, and waves a little. "Hello, Violet. I am Tails."
-
"Hello, Jay and Tails. Anyway I can help you today? Well, you seem to already have found several books, but....I'm still bad at speaking. Sorry." Violet rolled her eyes, annoyed at her inability to speak to people still not being fixed. "Hello, Violet. I did indeed finish finding the books I need, but I heard your daughter was into soul magic, is that correct." "Yes, but she's still just a beginner."
-
"Violet, your daughter is no beginner. She's a prodigy. Just the fact that she can create a soul to give to a being such as her golem is a feat that takes some decades. She has quite the gift."
-
"Oh right!" Violet shook her head and nervously laughed. "Keep forgetting the two of us aren't normal." Jay got even more excited upon hearing the word prodigy. "Could we meet her? I've always had an interest in soul magic." Violet thought about it for a moment before shrugging. "If she's not busy I think talking to real people wouldn't be bad for her."
-
In reality, Reagan had been only two shelves over from them, reading a few books on medieval alchemy. So she basically ran right over when it was mentioned that Jay wanted to meet her. She was wearing a pink sweater, with a pair of blue jeans. She had socks on, but no shoes. The place was literally her house, so she didn't think she needed to use shoes in it. The golem wasn't very far behind, and Bunny kinda just appeared over in the corner. She ran over to Jay. "You wanted to meet me?!" She only really heard that part, nothing about the soul magic stuff.
-
Jay smiled at the child and crouched down a little so he wasn't so tall. "Yes, I've heard you're quite gifted at soul magic, lil one. Is that true?"
-
"Uh-huh! My golem is my first successful project! Say hi, Golem!" The Golem looks up at Jay. When he speaks, his mouth does not move for some odd reason. Golem: "He-llo." He spoke very slowly.
-
"Hello, fella!" He waved to the golem before looking back at Reagan. "I remember when I used to be like you, starting off small."
-
Reagan: "Starting small? You know soul magic too? I focus more on healing and transmutation, but it's great to see another person interested in soul magic! It's kinda taboo..."
-
"I specialize in soul magic as well as transmutation...and a few others like those two." Violet raised a brow, curious and skeptical. V: "Strange...never heard of you. Usually mages of that type are famous or infamous in some way." J: "I stick to myself and work alone a lot."
-
"How much do you know? What can you make? Can you make powerful souls? I can make them, I just can't get them to stick to things! That's like the only thing I'm bad at!"
-
Jay chuckled and nodded. "You'll figure it out eventually and I'd like to think I can create rather powerful beings...." V: "Powerful? Like what?" J: "Eh, maybe you'll see sometime. I'm not one to show off."
-
"Ooooooh! Show me, show me, show me! I wanna learn! Will you teach me some stuff? Right now I'm trying to attach two souls to one body! But it's really hard..."
-
"I don't know...." V: "Why haven't you ever asked me for help, Reagan?" Violet asked, sounding a little hurt.
-
"Mom, you don't know anything about healing magic or soul magic. I asked you for help before and you didn't know about it."
-
Edited by Stitch: 10/8/2017 5:11:29 AM"What? I may not be as well rehearsed in some magics, but I dabble in all of them...sometimes unsuccessfully. Healing is something I'm actually decent at and soul magic I may kinda not be good at, but I have lots of knowledge on it and lots of books." Jay just remained silent, looking to see if Tails left.
-
Tails was still there. "Mom, you literally told me when we first met that you don't know near as much as I do about healing. I bring stuff back to life, remember? I still can't get the sentient stuff to come back though..."
-
Edited by Stitch: 10/8/2017 5:12:44 AM"I was saying I could help with the soul magic. I just brought up the healing magic because you said I knew nothing at all about it."
-
"Oh. I didn't even know you knew soul magic! How much do you know? Can you make stuff like I can?@
