The young librarian, Violet, sat at a desk near the entrance, waiting for anyone who comes into the library so she could offer her assistance. No one ever showed, but she was extra positive today that just maybe someone would finally decide to show up for once.
"Please? Anyone?" She muttered to herself.
[spoiler]Open. Extremely knowledgeable, intelligent, and decently strong mage with the largest library on magic if anyone wants to interact.[/spoiler]

"R-really?" Lilly said in disbelief. "Then...what about surgical procedures? Healing? Anything about the medical field really?"

"Sure. I can lead you to the section if you want. I'm guessing, by the way you worded it, that you mean nonmagical medical care?" Violet stood up, brushing off the purple cloak she had on as well as her black skirt.

"Well, either or works! B-but non-magical stuff might be best. I'm studying in case of emergencies." She told her. Lilly, however, looked only to be maybe 15.

"Right this way, miss!" Violet began to walk away, into the sea of bookshelves that looked like they went on forever despite the outside of the building being rather small.

"Wow! Is this place e-enchanted?" Lilly asked the mage. "I swear it didn't look this big from the outside!"

"Of course it is! I couldn't possibly fit my collection err...the library into such a confined space." Violet quickly led Lilly to the section that contained books on the subject Lilly wanted. On the way they passed several strange glass cases filled with artifacts.

Lilly nearly passed them, before halting herself and stretching her neck back to look at the objects. "What are these?" She asked curiously.

Violet turned and chuckled. The cases were full of all kinds of magical things. Some looked ancient, some futuristic, others looked like junk. "It would take me eternity to describe them all and some I'd rather keep a mystery...and a few of them are outside of my understanding."

"Why would you own things you don't understand?" Lilly asked Violet as she stared curiously at the items still, tilting her head. "T-that could be dangerous don't you think?"

"I'm a curious intellectual and I think it's safer here than someone else having it and maybe abusing it." Violet sighed. "I should up the security in here though. Most of these items could single-handedly overthrow an empire...."

"Wha-really?" Lilly asked Violet, surprised. "That would have been really useful a few months ago..."

"NO! No! No no no!" Violet shook her head and practically yelled hysterically. "Anything I have that had the power to take on Tywin would've had a huge draw back that wouldn't have been worth using. Besides, everything ended okay as always. I'd rather not risk using anything in my collection unless absolutely necessary."

"And what situation would be deemed as absolutely necessary?" Lilly asked as she raised her hand to her chin.

"When something endangers the one's I love or when every hero and warrior on this planet dies. It's a last ditch effort if I ever use one of these. I'm not a fighter. I'm a scholar." Violet began to get a little upset for some reason. "I want to use my knowledge and talent with the mystical arts for eductaional purposes only. It's the responsible thing to do."

"Hey, I'm the same way!" Lilly told her, surprisingly.

Violet smiled a little at this. "Oh good! There are way too many brutes around here that just want to headbutt everything, so people like you are heavily welcomed by me."

"Well I'm also like...fifteen." Lilly commented. "And if you didn't notice, not exactly a boulder? More of a-a thin stick. Fighting...wouldn't make much sense for me. Plus, healing people tends to have less consequences."

Violet chuckled, amused by the smaller girl. "Despite my conservative clothes I'm still in my mid-twenties. I've been working on getting a little bit of muscle without using magic, but...I gave up and ended up enhancing myself just a tad so I grew muscle a bit faster. I may not fight, but being in shape helps with other things as well."

"Yaaaaa but that requires like, physical work and stuff. I'd rather just read a good book and then l-let my metabolism take care of the rest."

"Fair enough. I used to be the exact same as you at your age, but maybe a little more shy....Want to get those books you came for? I know these artifacts are cool, but it's not like I can just show them off."

"Oh...right." Lilly said. "Ya, ya let's go get them."

Violet began to lead Lilly once again, keeping a close eye on the girl in case she did anything. "There are some lesser magical items I have however if you ever want to see those...."

"Really? Ya! L-let's look at them!" She told Violet, before she turned her head shamefully. "I-I mean if...if that's okay with you..."

"Of course it is, Miss Lilly." Violet changed direction. "This way."

Lilly turned her feet, military style(but a bit more dramatic, of course) and followed the librarian. Curious with Just about everything this collection held.
