The dogfight would’ve happened, the Imperial Interceptors being backed up by TIE Fighters and Bombers, some of which diverted from the Dojo to engage the X-Wings.

There were only two squadrons of X-wings currently in the space, meaning there were only about a dozen fighters engaging the TIE. The ships themselves fired off their ships blasters for defense, but jumped out of the hyperspace in an attempt to cause the Imperial Ships to follow them. The X-wings quickly jumped out as well, losing only two of their ships.
-
“Captain, they’ve jumped out of hyperspace.” One of themsaid. “Send the remaining Fighters in space after them; we’ve already got our hands full with intruders; losing this ship is not your main concern.” The Captain had said, multiple squadrons of fighters jumping after the Rebel Alliance. At least 200 Fighters in total.
-
The Rebels dropped out one system over, and as the Imperial fighters dropped out, they found themselves immediately overwhelmed. The Invictus slick hull decloaked in the middle of the Imperial Ships, opening up with their ship's weapons and tearing through the Imperial fighters. This was followed up by over 500 fighters, varying from Militia Hornets to Rebel Ships, all converging upon the Imperials

That's overpowered and stupid, stupidly overpowered, if you will.
-
...Well this didn’t take long, as the Imperials were instantly outmatched and destroyed under the forts of the Invictus, Rebels, And Militia.

"Empire ships are retreating, Colonel should we jump to dojo space?" "Negative, if they send more Ships are way we'll take care of them. But we will not step in to help the dojo." "Sir, if I may. I'm not sure leave the world to die is a good idea." "If the dojo repels them, then they will not be dead. If they are unable to, we will step in when all seems lost." There was scan of the system made, trying to determine how many Ships were there and what forces.
-
There were three Star Destroyers in total; one was being attacked on the ground, near the Dojo's location; two were in space, doing absolutely nothing...but were too heavily defended to risk a head-on assault.
-
The Colonel expanded the search radius, scanning the entire system for Ships.
Meaning if anyone else has Ships being brought in. Arby, Orn, whoever
-
There were 5 Star Destroyers that seemed different in class (a flurry of other unknowns as well...). Beyond that, there was nothing much. Whatever their next move would be was on them.
Oh. Alright, then.
-
Sorry, just curious.
"Sir, what are you orders?" "We're not moving in. Stay in this system, if they come after us we'll attack. If not, leave them."
End?
-
Up to you. Got anyone on the ground, or shall we end it for now?
-
Nah, I don't have anyone on the ground. Pulled the Militia off world for now. Invictus is with them... Actually...
Update me on the ground battle! Ching Shih joins the fray https://imgur.com/wiVsy78
...so does that mean I can send my forces to her?
-
Just give me an update on the battle! She'll be guarding the gates
Edited by A Stormy Dio: 10/2/2017 1:51:04 AM
Gotcha, mate.
The Imperials were losing ground fast. Some attempted to flee the Dojo, but others regrouped and rejoined the battle. One such group, of 5 Stormtroopers, and a melee Trooper we’re running up to the gates.
-
Oracle sat on top of a perch along the wall, quickly taking aim and firing off a round from her sniper rifle at one of the storm troopers. On the ground, the inner courtyard had been retaken, and a friendly machine gun nest had been set up by some dojo soldier in the middle of the open gates, opening fire on the approaching squad.
-
Three of the troopers were mowed down by the shot, one of which was from Oracle’s shot, the trooper dropping to the ground like a rock. The Imperial Melee Trooper, however, used his jump pack, and jumped right on top of Oracle, preparing to strike her.
-
Oracle raises her sniper into the air to use it as a defensive weapon against the Melee trooper.
-
The Melee Trooper had a shock staff, seemingly striking down one of the shocks parts of the staff straight down toward the sniper... ...whatever damage it would do to Oracle would've happened right now.
-
The sniper itself had a bit of rubber lining along it to make it more comfortable to hold. The staff striked against the barrel of the sniper, and Oracle quickly sent a kick at the troopers chest.
-
The Melee Trooper staggered back, his staff still in his hands, as he attempted to charge again, the remaining two Stormtroopers attempting to sneak their way past Oracle and the gun encampments.
-
Oracle quickly took aim at the storm trooper, firing off a round of her sniper rifle at the troops Chest. Unfortunately, since the gun encampment was in the middle of the gates.
-
The Melee Trooper dropped off the wall, leaving his shock staff in front of Oracle, as the remaining two troopers were gunned down. Despite this, one Stormtrooper attempted to flee everything in general, running out of the gates with his hands up.
-
The storm trooper was left alone, and allowed to leave as Oracle siezed the Shock staff and dropped to the ground with a soft thump.
-
They seemed to be retreating, jumping onto shuttles, soem do their fellow kind defending them from any Dojoites, desperate enough to charge straight toward the retreating Imperials. The problem was, those shuttles were headed in the direction of Ollimand, NOT back into space.
