"Shit!" Scorch said, releasing the knife and jumping off, stopping the flow of electricity into it.
"Great job!" Noble yelled, taking a few steps back and continuing his shooting.
Scorch shook his head, before pulling a shotgun out and firing at beast.

It almost seemed that the bullets bounced off, the electricity throwing rounds back at scorch and noble. The guns were thrown off, and huge explosions detonated near them. It seemed this wouldn't give up The armor was quite heavy. Ballistic weapons would have a hard time piercing it, even if the shield was down [i]I AM INVINCIBLE, I AM UNION, I AM DEATH, I AM HERETIC, I AM....[/i] And on and on.

"Scorch, your sniper!" Noble said, looking towards the Hunter, who nodded. The Guardian drew a Thousand Yard Stare with armour piercing rounds, aiming at the beast and taking a single shot to test its effectiveness. [spoiler]And yes, this is prior to the Cabal attack on the city.[/spoiler]

The shot pierced the shield, made a small dent, then bounced back at scorch. This shot then disintegrated from the shield. However, the robot got moved slightly, and one of its legs got sliced a small amount by the laser grid [i]ARGH, OW OW OW[/i] An eye came from the top of it, and a laser came from that, repairing the leg as another leg came up and put scorch into a stasis field. Another leg then came up after that, aiming at scorch

The sniper was transmitted, dropping to the ground in front of Noble, who promptly picked it up and fired two rounds. One at either of the legs.

The first missed, failing to connect with the stasis leg. However, the second managed to pierce the other leg, causing it to be blown from its socket.....Serendipity. The shot flung the legs aim so it would fly at her [i]JUST DIE[/i] Keeping the stasis leg up, it turtle shelled and started spinning around the area, the field still on

Noble quickly thrusted towards the leg, and it caught him in the left hip, coming to a halt inside his body as he stumbled into the wall. He grunted, dropping the sniper magazine to the ground and reloading, firing off the three rounds towards the robot. The first two were aimed for the body of the spider, the third aimed for the stasis field.

The robot ducked, causing the first two shots to miss. However, the third shot got very close to the field generator, barely failing to hit due the field. An opening came from the ceiling, and a turret came down, priming to fire on noble. It seemed to be laser based, not ballistic

"...move." Serendipity said behind Noble, causing the Spartan to duck to the side as Serendipity fired a single heavy, armour piercing shot from her Carnifex at the turret that had appeared.

The shot caused the turret to go haywire. It would start to spin out of control, firing all over the place. Multiple shots would hit the stasis field but would do nothing. The turret also pelted the robot, which damaged it's armor considerably. The stasis field would drop, and it would jump at the turret, pulling it off and throwing it at the team

Noble rolled to the side, as Serendipity rose to her feet and stumbled out of the way of the turret. Scorch fell to the ground, forming a second sniper in his hands- considering Noble had his 1000 yard- and fired at the underbelly of the beast, with four armour piercing rounds. This was followed up by the heavy armour piercing rounds of the Carnifex, as well as three sniper shots from Noble's current sniper.

It would turn it's stealth systems back on before they could fire on it, turning off the lasers behind it and running off. Dents could be seen as it ran, and so it could be followed However, the issue now was that you had multiple commando squads having just caught up to the fight. You would have to fight your way through quickly before the robot got fixed

"Dawn, get them fixed up." Scorch said, glancing over his shoulder At Noble and Serendipity. "Guardian, I must warn you. If I heal the two of them, I won't have enough light to bring you back. That spider being took a good amount." "Just do it." Scorch demanded, the ghost doing as it was told and healing the two injured teammates. Both rose to their feet, the ghost disappearing as the trio opened fired on the squadrons with various weaponry. An M-8 Avenger, a BR55 Battle Rifle, and a shadow price. They moved quickly, focusing more on following the spider then anything.

Eventually, the "tracks" would stop at a dead end. It was wierd that they disappeared like that. The floor looked odd though, like it could open. Sure enough, it opened everywhere but where you stood, and something grabbed each of them, pulling them into the depths. When they reached the next room, it was dark with very little light. Each would be thrown slightly, but with very little power [i]YOU HURT, DIEEEEEEEE[/i] A door opened, and out charged the droid, smacking into scorch

Scorch stumbled back, laughing a bit as he fired off a few shots from his auto rifle. Seeing the sudden attack on Scorch, Serendipity reached to the holster on her leg and drew her Carnifex once more. She quickly fired off the remaining five rounds of the heavy armour piercing rounds, aiming for its legs.

The robot seemed to anticipate this, and jumped to avoid, spinning to face Serendipity and going into a slam at them. Meanwhile, the legs opened, and it looked as if it was charging something. It was an interesting idea, but was more worrisome was the large talons coming out of the front....aimed right at Serendipity Small versions of the robot would also run out, though they looked easy to dispatch

Scorch turned his attention towards the smaller bots, shooting them up with his assault rifle. Noble rushed towards Serendipity, crashing into her and sending her to the ground, falling down besides her. She reloaded her Carnifex, firing off two rounds from the heavy Armoured magazine towards the opened legs.

The shots went through, causing an implosion in the legs. The explosion that followed from that went straight for the two. The mini robots would swarm Scorch. Sure, some would die, but they were fast. They started to climb onto scorch. Only a couple, but they would slow him considerably. Meanwhile, the main bot struggled to get up, trying to aim a leg at serendipity.

"Get these f***ers off of me!" Scorch yelled, grabbing at the bots and trying to throw them off of himself. Noble and Serendipity opened fired, Serendipity with her armour piercing rounds and Noble with his battle rifle.

Edited by Flamyng, Singer of Flames: 10/8/2017 1:02:10 AMAs the shots rang out, a couple robots jumped off. However, most stayed on. The wierd part was the huge robot jumped in front, tanking the shots The small robots would pull out small cutting devices and start moving them towards his armor

Scorch moved to the side, and the trio turned their various weapons on the spider creature. Serendipity with her armour piercing rounds fired at the legs of the spider. Noble, with his battle rifle opened fire on the robot's torso. Finally, Scorch threw a silver gun, firing a single bullet that held the firepower of three at the beast.
