At least there's no oh you only beat me because your gum has this that and the other perks on it compared to mine with only these perks on it, although I agree to some that's what keeps them playing but to me grinding the same strike for a chance of a primary that could possibly drop a gun isn't why I play , I'm glad there's only one version then I don't have to stay locked in one mode for hours upon end

It was nothing better in D1 IMO though than being shit on by a good gun with good perks and grinding until you got it yourself to even the playing field and dish out pain. Whether it was exotic or legendary, good and fun guns is what kept the community on a constant hunt.
