as someone who never got lucky with loot i really appreciate that i only have to find the gun once to be on the same level as other people using it. the game is out for 3 weeks and if theres really nothing left to do for you guys its not the games fault. take your time completing games, dont rush everything and complain that theres no content.

I have to dissagree , it seems to me are no good gun there isnt much a difference between this gun and that, other semi auto and full auto , and elements..the uniqueness is gone there is no "o shit look at this" to be honest for me it takes away from the looter shooter aspect , iam highly dissapointed/nervous i have a short gaming stamina ( get bored of same game) but d1 had me coming bak bc of varity of goodies, but d2 seems every gun is same , so why grind and look for aomething when everything is same , i intend to keep playing but have a feeling i will lose intrest quickly ,

Edited by loonigus: 9/26/2017 7:45:58 AMYou are wrong good sir. After 3 weeks of Taken King I was still doing the Altar Encounter to get Raid ready for example. It is not about rushing the content. Eventually you will sooner or later end up where we are. I played trough the campaign super slow and enjoyed it. I reached power level 270 and hit the progression wall. After a week I created my second char. Ofcourse I went trough the campaign fast, but still didnt rush. Skipped only the cutscenes and parts of some encounters. Did like 10 heroic events, milestones and the raid. After the second week of playing I was 295 on my second char and 300 on my first. Last week I made my 3rd char and that was even faster. 300+ in about two days of playing including the raid simply because the weapons obviously boosted my power level alot and I was 290 from just completing my milestone for the last week and after the raid/trials ticket (one) I ended up on 300. I have all the weapons and miss only a few exotics, but who cares since Xur will eventually sell them anyway. And yes... I have a girlfriend, work 8 hours a day and usually spend most of the weekend socializing. A super average dude with a super average life that plays for two or three hours after work. The only time I played alot was during the first 5 days since I had some vacation leftovers I had to take so I used it for the D2 launch.
-
you had 5 days to play excessively... and you wonder that youre through all the way? imagine you only played your regular 2-3 hrs. its okay if you dont like the game. just move on and play something different.
-
What makes you think I dont like the game? Actually the oposite. I like the game and I want it to improve. If I didnt play alot in the 5 days I would be where Iam now in one more week... Doesnt change anything since the result would be the same lol...
-
Yeah you are right. But look out that the BUNGIE BOTS won't attack you lol
-
D2 is garbage. I only enjoy the landscape and the raid.
-
Lets talk in about a week when you have completed everything aswell and see this game for the empty shell it really is. I have played for about 2 weeks and apart from public events and daily challenges i'm already bored.
-
got 3 characters to 300, did the raid except bossfight (hardly have much time in one sitting to do that but its on my list for this week), helped friends get flawless. acquired pretty armorsets for all my 3 character and now im ready to help my clanmates. yes the game might be boring for some people. BUT there are many d1 veterans just like me who are really into the game. for me its the crispy smooth console fps controls and gunplay.

Edited by loonigus: 9/26/2017 7:48:49 AMSometimes not even 30 fps is crispy for you? Did you ever experience 120 fps/120 hz gameplay on PC? I did and I had massive motion sickness after comming back to console for D2.
-
'crispy smooth console fps controls' shouldve written first person shooter. thought it was clear that i didnt mean frames per second. my bad i guess.

idiot.... take your time? this game has like 7 hours of content. rather soon then later you will -blam!-ing hit this dry pit as well.. maby 3 days later then others... but the fact that you will doent make the endgame suddenly full of stuff to do because you were 3 days slower... what an -blam!-ing idiot are you. goddamn.. horizon zero dawn a single player game with no grind at all. kept me busy for 2 weeks... the witcher 3, singleplayer with no grind kept me busy for almost 2 month's...... and let me tell you i played those games jusy as hard as i did destiny. i hit endgame in destiny MY SECOND DAY OF PLAYING!! this is the games fault,

Exactly. For some reason people show Stockholm syndrom symptoms. I bought it against my better judgement, because I wanted to be able to play with my clan, who all preordered it. Bungie broke the last straw with this mediocre installment of the game. They dumbed down the story even more. The game is now retard friendly trash. Only the raid gives you a challenge, but it's prone to lag and team errors. You just wipe to often to trash mobs killing you, because they lag teleport.

how ive missed the forums. at first i thought about correcting your mistakes in your reply.. but there were just too many. it seems like destiny just isnt a game for you. mentioning hzd and witcher. these are all games heavily focused on singleplayer experience whereas destiny is about playing with friends and helping them. tl;dr inform yourself about a game before you purchase it
