[b]Early bird[/b]
[i]It was early morning as the sun had just started to rise and peak over the tops of the trees.
It was truly a breathtaking sight as the trees were slowly turning colors as it was slowly becoming fall. Not many would be up this earlier for no reason though.
But someone was though and it was Akiko. She was wearing a red t-shirt and tan cargo pants. Her long silver hair was pulled back which was a striking constrat with her very dark skin. In her hand she carries a metal bucket with something in it as she is seen walking down a corridor to what looked like a rather looking wooden shed. Something could be heard moving inside of it as Akiko had looked around if she was followed before opening it up and walking inside.
If anyone had followed her this would be considered strange. But after what like more than a few minutes. Akiko had emerged from the shed with a few large pink and black feathers scattered in the air from when she had the door.
She had started to walk away again with the bucket but was now empty. This would be good time to confront her about what would be in there if she was indeed followed or wait till she left to sneak a peek at what lurked within.

[b][i]As she began to walk away she felt some felt gently hug her from behind, as the person spoke. The voice was the familiar voice of her lover, Leon.[/i][/b] "Good morning beautiful."

"Good morning leon i didn't think you would be up this early"says Akiko [i]she smiles as she around to give him a hug. She had a pink and black feather stuck in her hair that she didn't notice yet.[/i]

"Well, some old habits die hard." [b][i]He said, laughing a bit, looking st the feather.[/i][/b] "By the way, I like the feather. Looks nice." [b][i]He said as he gestured to it[/i][/b]

"Well there's more where that came from i was just feeding my pet bird hence the bucket. Come on i'll show you"says Akiko [i]she smiles and takes his hand leading him to where she just came out of a few minutes ago. She had started to open the door and something big could be heard on the other side moving. [/i]

"You told me about your pet. Anything I should know before I see them?" [b][i]He says, laughing a bit[/i][/b]

"no not really she just very big'says Akiko [i]she opens the door wide enough for him to see but Akiko deliberately stood in front him holding his hand with the other. He was soon greeted with the sight of very large pink and bird with fushica colored eyes looking at him. It lowers its head looking over her shoulder at him. It chirps while still looking at him. It then lowers its head to investigate him while stepping closer. Akiko pats the side of its long neck reassuring it.[/i]

[b][i]He slowly moved his arms from his sides, making his body into an almost T-shape as the bird investigated him. He made sure it to move fast to not startle it, though he did first he had an energy bar in his pocket as a snack[/i][/b]

[i]the bird continued to investigate him looking him over carefully. The bird could smell the food in his pocket and gently nipped at with its beak clearly not trying to hurt him. Akiko giggles a bit seeing this and pulls out a strip of dried beef handing it to him.[/i] "Here give her this.''says Akiko

[b][i]He took it, whistling a little to get the bird's attention, before handing it the food. He laughed a bit.[/i][/b] "Well, definitely not like the birds at home."

[i]it took the strip of beef gently from his hand and ate it. [/i] "Yeah she definite is something. but i can tell that she likes you."says Akiko [i]Akiko had moved over a little more as it chirped and nuzzles against his hand in friendly gesture.[/i]

[b][i]He pet the bird, being gentle with it as to not hurt it.[/i][/b] "Well, I'm glad she likes me. This situation would probably be a lot different if she didn't". [b][i]He said laughing a little[/i][/b]

"Yeah she's pretty nice i raised her from a egg. That and she can probably smell me on you."says Akiko [i]Akiko watch her make soft chirps as he pets her. It nuzzles against him gently. It can smell Akiko's scent on him. This made her more comfortable around him.[/i] "Her name is mona"says Akiko

"Hey Mona..." [b][i]He said as he continued petting the bird like it was a huge dog. Been a bit since she had really had a pet, since attack dogs didn't really count.[/i][/b] "She's beautiful."

"Was given to me as a gift from someone the shouldnt exist but does. Tell what if i told you i got her from the easter bunny leon."says Akiko [i]she had a serous look on her face when she says this. Mona nuzzles against him a little more as she being petted by both. [/i]

"I was told magic doesn't exist, and then I found I could shoot lighting from my body. I was told Dragons exist, and I met someone as beautiful as you. It wouldn't be my biggest surprise."

"Yeah well i her and she was really cool. She even said that should would come back next year."says Akiko [i]she smiled and pets monas large head. Mona was clearly enjoying the attention she was getting from both of them.[/i]

"Been a while since I've been around an animal who's purpose was just to care for you. Missed this feeling." [b][i]He says, smiling a bit[/i][/b]

"You should see her in flight it a thing beauty when she flies."says Akiko [i]mona suddenly perked up when she heard the word flies clearly knowing what it meant as mona chirps excitedly at the two.[/i]

"Looks like she's a bit eager to give a demonstration." [b][i]He says laughing a bit[/i][/b]

"Yeah she loves fly."says Akiko [i]Akiko giggles as she reaches for a harness that nearby on the hanging up. Akiko takes from her as mona lowers her head allowing her to fasten it. It was custom made bridle made of soft leather designed specifically for mona. Akiko had a hold of the lead.[/i] "She's big and strong enough to carry people on her back."says akiko [i]she then leads her outside mona was big as she stepped past him. There was a saddle fastened to her back as well. mona outside the confine of the shed she was easily a taller than Leon by half a foot. Mona looked at him and chirps excitedly again. [/i]

[i][b]To be fair that wasn't hard to do. Leone as 5'10", not the tallest person ever. He followed as the bird was lead outside, enjoying the weather of the day as he did[/b][/i]

[i]mona followed Akiko then stops lowering herself down far enough for Akiko to climb on and she's taps the spot behind her. Mona seems to be waiting for him to climb on as well.[/i]

[i][b]He climbed on as well, sitting behind Akiko on the strange bird. It did feel a lot different than riding his cycle, that was for sure.[/b][/i]

"Hang on tight now."says Akiko [i]mona started to move standing up to her full height as She as completely opened up wings starting to flap them. It wasn't long before she took off from the ground completely. Pretty soon the were several feet above the dojo. The veiw from this height wss amazingI.[/i]

[b][i]He wrapped his arms around Akiko's waist, being really the only thing to hang onto as they soared trough the skies. He looked over the edge to see the view from the skies[/i][/b] "Damn. The view is nice from up here."
