Stop being lazy Bungie You had 3 years to work on this

What made Destiny 1 so great is that when opening up the game I was able to choose what I wanted to do at whatever difficulty. I could hop into a crucible mode I liked or go into a private match and 1 v 1 some buddies. You removed that. Competitive and Casual?! Putting 4 meager modes (when Destiny 1 had about a dozen) into 2 playlists is lazy. Also not implementing more than 1 difficulty on a mission or strike is asinine. My favorite memories from Destiny 1 was playing my weekly Heroics, getting my purples and gearing up for a raid that I play after. And you expect me to play the damn Inverted Spire at the same easy difficulty 10 times over? My lord. It's easy to add the difficulties and split up the playlists. Now for the next thing. RANDOM ROLLS AND SKILL TREES. Something that kept me playing Destiny 1 was the grind to get that perfect rifle or rocket launcher. You removed it. Why? "Oh we dont want it to be grindfest",Bungie says. The game is a grindy MMO. I get my hours through the grind. The grind intertwines with replay ability. That's why I replayed the raid every week for months on end. And what keeps my hopes up is that you can add the rolls back. It's so easy. Just put some goddamn effort and make some interesting and powerful perks. I would be WILLING to be hired by you and work for free, just making perks for weapons. Also with skill trees. My dragon's breath from Year 1 had more skills then the subclasses in D2. It's so linear and it creates the most mediocre builds. I want my choice back. I want to go into a raid, set up my class tree to the desirable settings for the certain phase, and swap up the tree in the next phase. In conclusion, give my choice back Bungie. I don't care that there's a lack of maps or strikes, I just want to be challenged and replay my favorite missions and strikes with my desired setup, whilst grinding for that god roll.
