The man removed the pistol from his side and rifle from his back, now switching over to his weapon of choice for range. He slung two quivers onto himself, one on his hip and the other over his right shoulder. A callsign was printed in white letters on it: CONQUEST-2. He began firing, the crossbow being designed for power and fast reloads, taking him only about 2 seconds between each shot before he fired again. His shots were accurate again, as he fired full speed. The way he shot, there was a rhythm to it, perfected over years of training as one bolt after another slammed into targets

The one who had noticed Leon would lower her rifle, waiting until Leon had stopped firing to speaking up. "You've quire some skills," The recruiter commented. She had a head of brown hair, fair skin, and amber pupils. "Better than most others." Terram glanced over to the voice, seeing what was going on, then turned his attention back to firearms.

He put down the crossbow before looking over st her. The skeletal helmet was somewhat unnerving, looking almost like real bone. He removed it, revealing a man who seemed Mexican, with short black hair and jade green eyes. His face was unscarred, as he grinned. "I'm still getting used to these rifles, though thank you for the compliment. Being in the military for 12 ish years generally helps with that." He chuckled a bit, picking up the rifle and pistol again before attaching them to his body, pistol on right hip and rifle on back.

"Military, huh?" She seemed interested, if anything. "Tell me; are you still with the military?" The recruiter didn't seem to let any ulterior motives show, and by the situation it wasn't likely that Leon would know why she was asking these questions.
-
"No, unfortunately. I'm not currently serving, haven't for about 2 years now." He said, as though he regretted it. "If you want me to explain the reasoning I can, though I prefer not to talk about it. Nothing to do with war crimes or such, I can assure you of that."
-
"Oh no, that's alright." The woman smiled. There was a certain hesitation in her demeanor now, as though she was thinking of something. After a moment that seemed longer than one such, she nodded at Leon, leaned in close and spoke softly. "If you're feeling a little dissatisfied with that fact, I actually know a place that might be of some interest." She rifled through her pockets, and a couple seconds after would pull out a crumpled card. It read, in faded lettering: Fate Weavers Private Military Weavers of fate – changes based on cash involved! 2638 Sol Avenue, Lumen Solis, 38191

"A PMC? Might be good to get back into action after this time. I'll definitely look into it. Though, I suppose I should introduce myself. Leon Rivas, a pleasure to meet someone as beautiful as yourself." He said. It was almost a natural reaction to Leon, though he truly did sound sincere.

Edited by Crrowly: 9/23/2017 12:58:17 AM"Stacy Williams. The pleasure is all mine, Mr. Rivas," She would reply, smiling at the compliment. "You're truly quite a skilled marksman. I've seen very few people demonstrate the abilities you possess."

"Well, being a Lancer for 8 years develops that kind of precision. Feels weird to shoots standing still though, and with a rifle." He said, looking at the rifle.
-
"Lancer?" The woman bore an intrigued, inquisitive expression on her face. "What might that be?"
-
"It's a bit hard to explain. Where I'm from, we have what are called Motorized Strike Teams. Among them are many groups, but I was what was known as a Lancer. 8 soldier squad, and our job was to disrupt enemy formations, hit and run kind of deal. So we were given a motorcycle, a ranged weapon, and a spear. Also, rifles aren't a thing where I'm from, which is the reason for my crossbow." He said, explaining his past a little bit
-
"Ah, I see. And, where exactly are you from...?"
-
"I'm gonna sound nuts for saying this, but I'm from a different version of Earth. I know, it sounds batshit crazy but it's true. Tech is advanced, cars and modern medicine, just no machine guns or such weapons."
-
This seemed to interest her, and she nodded. "I'd love to hear about this later. I'm sure we'll meet again soon, but for now, it's getting rather late." Stacy Williams appeared to have been taking her leave now. Leon could either continue at the shooting range and talk to the others, or head over to the address given to him and see what was up.

Leon headed over to the others, his more modern weapons in hand as he watched some of them shoot. As stated before some weren't as precise as he was, and he was thinking he might be able to give pointers to some of them.
