[i]The kick certainly knocked the Sororitas back, while the gladius would halt in air, Victoria returning her weapon to her own defense instead of keeping it held out for an attack. She had taken to going on the defense.[/i]

Zera smiled; she'd be going on the offense for once, and she planned on hoping to breaking Victoria's defense, and be able to defeat Vic... At least that's what the Immortal thought, jumping in the air and attempting to launch a vertical slash on the Sororitas.

[i]Victoria would have to utilize Zera's slash on her own: forcing the forearm portion of her left arm against the flat cheek of her sword, as the two swords met once more. This time, Victoria completed the parry by forcing Zera's katana to Zera's left, with Victoria's gladius to her right side.[/i] [i]Then, Victoria would bring back her blade in a thrusting position, aiming it at Zera's belly button: though it was slower than a regular thrust, and one not intended to pierce Zera at all.[/i]

Zera had responded by looking at Vic...seeing that she didn't want to get her legs chopped off the by the Gladius...so she waited. She was thinking of a plan while being in this position.

[i]When the gladius would meet Zera's belly, Victoria's eyes widened before she stopped herself, the tip of the small blade pressed against Zera's stomach. The Sororitas remained silent for some time, before sighing and bringing her sword back.[/i] "Forgive me, I.. lost control. A gladius demands a more.. violent approach."

"It is of no concern. You've given me more than enough of a fight." Zera had told Victoria, lowering her katana from Victoria. "A katana is just as violent...although it would depend on who's hands the weapon belongs to." She looked at Victoria. "A knight, I suppose?"

"No, ma'am. A previous soldier with the fortune of proper training. I wonder.. whom would train you, ma'am? You held your own quite well." [i]At that, Victoria smiled a little. She was curious, after all.[/i]

"My father...he was the main reason why I've become who I've become, after all." Zera had told Victoria, letting go of the Sororitas. "Perhaps we may ally with one another in the future? Both of us seem to be in need of one another."

"Referring to me as an ally gives your militaristic approach away, ma'am. What would you need that requires my.. alliance, with you, in the first place?" [i]Victoria wasn't keen on the taking of sides, to say the least. Ever since the Imperium.. she had only met two beings of that origin: a madman, and a Deathmarine.[/i]

"A simple partnership. You call on me if you need support and I call on you if I need support. A simple deal, no?" Zera asked Victoria, weapons being put back into its respective area in her body.

"Support," [i]Victoria murmured, before she had her response.[/i] "...Fine. Fine. But if you endanger others intentionally - friends, those whom I protect, innocents - then this is over, and you become another enemy. Do you understand?"

"Agreed...partner." She states, placing her katana back where it was and picked up her Annihilator. "Perhaps we may talk or duel again in the future?"

"We can, yes." [i]Victoria would respond, retrieving her armor and her gear as well, strapping on the ceramite plating once more.[/i] "Stay safe, Zera. Don't do anything stupid - you're certainly one of the better combatants in this.. Dojo."

"And to you as well, Victoria. 在那里安全。(Be safe out there.)" Zera had told her, walking away from her back out toward the rest of the Dojo. [spoiler]End?[/spoiler]
