Go to LFG, say you have 4 people and need 2... you'll get like 15 friend requests

  • That does work. It's the only reason I ever completed a raid. It can also get incredibly annoying. The instant you log in, your flooded with requests; so you look like an asshole if you ignore or decline because you WANT to solo that day. Or you find an awesome group, only to discover you'll never get to play with them again ... You're just filling a slot for one of their regulars who couldn't join that day. More often than not, I played with someone from LFG one time. It just seemed like a lot of bs to deal with just so I could raid or Nightfall. And why NF doesn't have matchmaking is beyond me.

  • I think majority of the times I completed Oryx, it was with randoms because others would just get frustrated and leave... so even if it was just me, I'd always tell them that I have 3-4 people... and I don't mind the flood of requests. I usually just accept them all and forget that they're on my friends list.

  • In Destiny 1 this never worked for me or by the time I finally got enough request, I didn't have time to play anymore. For me, because of my job I only really habe time to play while most every one else is at work or school. I go all the way back to the original Destiny 1 beta and even though I have completed all but 1 raid in D1, I habe never been able to play a raid from start to finish. In fact, I beat Oryx, but never beat the deathsingers.

  • Oh wow... when I used this trick I'd have a team within 5 minutes and I always make sure I have a good 3 hours of time without interruption.

  • It most definitly works for most people. Im just one of those games with really bad multiplayer games luck. I remember in crucible I was on the winning team and the top player. EVERYONE on my team got an exotic item (which I have never seen or heard of happening again) and most of the other team got exotics or legendary items. What did I get? A rare and uncommon item. I swear I think it's just me.
