Chapter Fifty One
The Coldbourne forces were on the run.
With the dragon support eliminated, the magic reinforcements sabotaged and their army now outnumbered by the more skilled mandolorian forces, the army was fleeing or being picked off like flies. This also revealed true loyalties in the army, as groups of Coldbourne soldiers betrayed the empire soldiers and gunned them down. Chanting Alex's name and cursing their oppressors.
Air support had free reign and gunned down Coldbourne forces by the dozens. The empires artillery was bombarded and destroyed, leaving them with nothing capable of destroying the fleet that made the skies dark above the city.
The dojo forces cleaved their way through the city, and Royal was able to round up the group of elite warriors as they made their way to the massive bridge to the castle.
The entire ceiling of the castle crumbled down as the group made their way out of the city and up the winding road to the palace, and a beast like roar was heard crying out from the castle. The dojo men and women got to the bridge with no resistance in their way.
As soon as everyone got onto the bridge, however, they saw that the door to the palace was illuminated by white fire.
Then, this fire suddenly spread.
It rushed across the sides of the bridge, then rose up and pierced the sky. A wall of fire formed behind the dojo forces, preventing their escape. The fire curved at the top of the walls, so that a ceiling of fire was above the group as well. Mando ships shot at the flames but everything thrown at the magic was nullified and disintegrated.
Then, even though the door remained closed, something seemed to be clawing its way out of the flames. A massively skinny and grotesque creature.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=rz1a_rZVHt4
It clawed out of the door like it was climbing out of a hole. It fell out of the door, and the group could see it at the end of the bridge. It had slender, skinny legs and arms. It wore a cloak that went down to its bare feet and wore baggy pants that covered his lower body until his calfs. It wore no shirt, and it's body was bone like and it's skin thin. The figures face was long bearded and skinny. It had high cheekbones and ice blue eyes that darted at the men and women in front of it. It had white and long flowing air which blew with the wind, and seemed to light on fire with blue flames as well. Around his head, a crow of sapphire covered thorns.
In its right hand, the being had a massive single edged axe. And in its left, a long whip.
It cracked its neck as it looked at its foes ahead of it.
"Puny, pathetic creatures." The being said, it sounded nearly identical to Tywin, but had a beastial growl to its voice. "My army may be gone, but my power has finally been unleashed. And it is UNLIMITED. All of you will die today...." he looked to the Coldbourne children, Cain and Lilly, when he said his last words. "No matter your lineage. If you fight against me, you are worthless, and must be purged so that my new and ideal world can come to fruition!"
open to everyone in the Darkest solstice plot! Boss fight! WHOOOOO.
Also, RED ZONE!
(You don't have to wait on people at all. You can attack the boss as you will. It will be influenced by other people's replies, and you can reply to other people as well if you wish. That said, you cannot control Tywin's actions in your replies obviously. He is still a boss, and certain hits are not permitted.

After Royal ran up in a questionable manner, Lyn sighed with a claymore sword resting on her shoulder, gripped by both hands. "Called it. I totally called the power thing. Cliche number one billion...."
-
Then, one billion rocks fell on Lyn and killed her.
Jk Jk lmaoooo
The beast sent its whip flying out and it hit Cannon who was beside her. A blast of blue flame shot out from the ignited whip and it flew towards her.
-
"F*cking...." Lyn attempted to duck under the fire, using her sword to help cover her face.
-
The flames scorched above her, but luckily she was unscathed. The being seemed currently occupied with Royal and Cannon. Cain stood beside Lyn, twirling his spear. "I...need to get in close." He told her. "Any ideas...?"
-
"Let those two guys distract him while we try to go a route he won't notice then jump out while someone else is attacking to surprise and disorient him?" Lyn said without much thought.
-
"But...it's a straight bridge..." Cain commented. "There...there is only one way to go...."
-
"You people and your thinking inside the box nonsense..." Lyn sighed looking up to make sure she wasn't caught offguard.
-
She was in a safe spot, but after a few seconds of firing her arrows she realized that they had hardly an effect of the beast. Suddenly, Tubbs came out of no where and tackled the creature, pushing it closer to the fire wall. then, she saw Cain fly up into the air, blue flaming wings sprawled and attached to his back. She heard him say "clear the area!"
-
*cough* assuming they're normal arrows *cough*
"Of course he has wings..." Lyn quickly found cover behind something solid nearby.
-
Since she was on a completely open rooftop that seemed to be getting destroyed as she stood on it, unfortunately that was difficult. Then as if from no where some magic ass cloak fell on her head, and as it fell off she found herself at the opposite side of the bridge where she started. Thanks royal.

Edited by Stitch: 9/22/2017 12:19:46 AMWhat the f*ck? Well, okay.... Either way Lyn ran to cover somewhere nonspecific because it's impossible to be specific in this situation.
-
It's a long bridge with no cover what so ever. Since it's a long bridge. She found her best cover was her armour.
-
Lyn formed a large rectangular shield on her left arm and took shelter behind it, waiting for what ever was going to happen.
-
Cain stayed in the air, and as Tywin went to strike him, Cain hit him first. Cain bolted at Tywin, smashing his spear into the beasts chest. An explosion of blue fire shot out from contact and Tywin went reeling into the fire wall. His entire back was coated in white flame and he let out a roar of anger as he grasped Cain after dropping his whip. Cain was stuck in the beasts chest with his spear, and when Tywin grabbed him he couldn't escape. Tywin smashed Cain onto the ground and the bridge cracked around the warrior. Then, he was still. "C-Cain!" Lilly yelled out as Tywin stumbled back to the centre of the bridge. "you all must DIE!" he yelled as Cains spear moved with his body, as it has been jammed into his chest.
-
"Everyone, we need to charge, grab that spear, and shove him into the fire as hard as we can. If any of you are listening..." Lyn attempted to keep her voice down so only those around her could hear her.
-
Clearly Tubbs wasn't, as he had already run out to check Cains pulse. Oh, Tubbs.
-
"Damn that fool....Charge!" Lyn braced herself behind the shield she carried as she sprinted across the bridge. Hoping others wouldn't sit back.
-
They didn't, as she immediately felt royals presence by her side as she sprinted at the beast.
go ahead and strike
-
Lyn grabbed the spear with both hands as she kept charging forward, attempting to push the monster.
-
Tywin slid across the ground slightly by me brute force carried behind the girl as he swung over her and at Roy, who ducked under the attack and slashed at the beasts hand.
-
Lyn kept pushing with all her strength, determined to move the beast. "Mooove!"
-
He yelled out as he smashed his axe into the ground beside him, and grasped Lyn with his hand. She felt his tight grip wrap around her entire body as he brought her over his shoulder and then propelled her forward, sending the girl flying.

Edited by Stitch: 9/24/2017 11:51:23 PMLyn yelped in surprise when thrown, but didn't get too hurt from the fall, rolling as she hit the ground. The woman stood up, a crossbow forming in her hands. She fired a large bolt beside the spear that was impaled into Tywin.
-
Her grouping was tight, so the bolt shot into a crack between the spear and the beasts skin, drawing blood from the tissue underneath.
-
"Eyy, some guess work can go a long way..." Lyn muttered as she tried to quickly reload a bolt into the crossbow, but crossbows don't load that fast so it was taking her a couple of seconds.
