[b]At the bottom of the hole, a large metal structure could be partially seen. The area around the structure seemed distorted and wavy for some reason.[/b]

[i]Using the ropes they brought, Rook and three others repelled down to the top of the structure. They placed objects on the top, what seemed to be explosives. But once detonated, they began to cut through the metal, creating a large hole on the top. Now they could see if there was something inside.[/i]

[b]As the four entered the ominous metal structure, they were greeted by the sight of hundreds of metallic corpses strewn across the ground. Each resembled a soldier in Fortis's army, and looked as if they had been thrashed to pieces by a sharp object. The mangled remains of wire and metal sometimes gave of a small spark of electricity before going dormant again. A dark colored fog filled the air of the structure, and an ominous green glow emitted from deeper within the room.[/b] "You should not be here..." [b]A demonic sounding voice stated.[/b]

"You three get out." [i]Rook ordered. Without hesitation, they left, quickly getting pulled back to the surface. Rook jumped down a not the room, his rifle raised.[/i] "And who may you be?"

"I am Amentius, harbinger of chaos. You should have left with your friends." [b]The hole in the structure instantaneous reformed, leaving the room nearly pitch dark. A loud clanking sound was heard from ahead.[/b]

"Ion, lights." [i]Rook's AI quickly turned on the lights located on Rook's helmet, and the flashlight on his rifle, now he could see in front of him.[/i] "Ok, Amentius, if you don't want me here, we don't need to end with violence, we could work something out."

[b]The lights in Rook's helmet illuminated like what looked to be Fortis. He was standing in the corner of the room. Yet when he spoke, Amentius's voice came out.[/b] "I don't make deals with anyone, I do what I wish to!" [b]Amentius summoned green flames in his hands and flung them at Rook.[/b]

[i]Rook was quick to get out of the way, he aimed his rifle, but noticing it was Fortis, he froze.[/i] "Fortis? What are you?" [i]Rook seemed confused, letting his guard down.[/i]

"Fortis is long gone, and I doubt he will be returning any time soon." [b]Amentius said. He drew his rifle, which was identical to Fortis's, and fired upon Rook.[/b]

[i]Rook, still doubtful, ran to cover, multiple shots hitting him. He gripped his rifle, ready to return fire. Once took a deep breath, pooped out of cover to return fire. After he was out, he tossed a frag grenade to buy some time.[/i]
