Double post. Open to all. I would heavily prefer that you only reply to one of these interactions. Otherwise, it'll get complicated. Enjoy!
The Streets of Dojoville, 9:54 AM "-So he spoke, and so he spoke- That lord o' Castamere-! But now the reins weep o'er his hall- With no one there to hear! Yes, now the reins weep o'er his hall- And not a soul to hear!" Ardain Storm laughed in a gravely, jesting tone, the partially drunk man stalking the streets of Dojoville early in the morning, with the citizens of the local town merely studying him with an odd curiosity. For he was easily a more.. interesting sight, in the eyes of one who was used to the futurism that plagued the Dojo. When taking a closer view, one could point out quite a few of the drunken man's details: he was shorter than most, at five feet and eight inches tall, albeit just missing the average height. He was adorned in the dirty yellow and gunmetal garb of what may have been a knight of old, tattered at the hems whilst plates of hardened steel would lay underneath the cloth, a thick backpack tightly bounded to his shoulders. Kept at his side, was a simplistic long sword, wrapped within a deep leather sheath, albeit the handle was a lighter leather, complemented with a simple teardrop pommel. Such simplicity and averageness almost gave off a certain beauty to it, really. The handle of a dagger would escape the pocket of his cloth, albeit the weapon was likely just as simplistic as the sword was. The drunken Ardain's face was coated by a thick, deep black beard, in contrast to his sandy blonde ponytail, his skin parched with scratches and dirt. A joyful grin darted his face, where it wasn't hidden by patches of hair, stormy grey mixed with light blue eyes drunkly looming over Dojoville's inhabitants- *POW!* "This'll be an easy pick." Ardain found himself stumbling over to the side before he was pressed to a concrete wall by a female, one much taller and uglier than he could try to be, with tattoos engraved into her face. Behind her, stood three more gang members: two males, one robot, whom spoke, with all four looming over him. Funnily enough, and luckily for Ardain.. none had a firearm. In reaction, he drew his dagger and savagely rammed it through the woman's neck, forcing her dying body off as he ripped the knife from her head. Sheathing the knife, Ardain would let out an enthusiastic "Woo!" before drawing the longsword: the blade was simple, yet efficient, being double-edged and suited for both one-handed and two-handed performance. Even as he was sicker than a mule, Ardain at least stood, before pressing the sword against his hand. With that, the blade cut open his right hand, as he was a left handed fighter, the remaining three fingers and palm were throbbing with pain as his own blood dripped upon his iron blade. Then, the blade exploded in a flurry of orange flame, fire kindling around the edges as he raised it up with both hands. The remaining three gang members stepped back, as the drunken man slowly approach, a stumble within each step. "C'mon, you ugly twаts!" And with that, Ardain would laugh - someone would surely notice, wouldn't they? --------------------------------- Tatakoi Plains, 12:54 PM Gideon felt the very presence of death as he meditated. A chilling breeze.. a snowflake, was that it? He could hear the spirits., they were begging for him to departure whenever he could, for something was coming. Something that even they did not understand, nor did they wish for him to encounter. It disturbed him, really.. it was the beginning of fall, and yet, as he opened his eyes.. Snow. The entirety of the plains would be coated with a thick blanket of it all, freezing the elvish wizard's bones to the core. Flakes of frost would coat his arms and hooded head, the monk's staff beginning to freeze as he took it in hand. He attempted to commune with the spirits, yet they were.. gone. As if they had retreated, at last, to whatever abode they dwelled within. As he squinted his eyes, Gideon could make out.. a figure, feminine in nature, yet clad within.. ice. It was as if the being was bounded entirely within ice, glimmering like a precious jewel, yet scarred from wear and combat. They were at least six feet tall, towering over Gideon, really. And in their hands was a massive, frozen javelin, wrapped with tight black and grey leather. The figurine raised their hand- Before being met with a boulder head-on, crashing into their body and sending them flying. "You would dare to bring your deathly presence here, demon?" Gideon would snarl with a certain hatred, studying the frozen creature as it rose from the earth, muffed groans escaping the visor of their helmet before they found their eyes upon Gideon. From there, they brought their hand back, muttering "Nathrë". A sudden spike of ice embedded itself within Gideon's right shoulder, resulting in him yelling in sudden pain. The spike drove right through him, spinning off into the distance and taking out a chunk of his arm. Gideon was forced to the ground as the wound was frozen, frostbite seeping through his arm and chest already. He rose up, breathing heavily as he aimed his staff at the approaching figure. To say the least.. someone best intervene soon.

  • And intervene somebody did... although it wouldn't be a beneficial intervention, for Gideon at least. Only visible to Elizabeth was a feminine figure clad in a deep, indigo suit of armor, with a smooth, violet visor that obscured her face. It was a thin suit, obviously not meant more for mobility than tanking, its material leather in appearance but... one would get a strange feeling from the armor. It clearly wasn't made of leather. Held in her right hand was a large, black and white hand cannon, with a short bayonet at its front. The revolver had two barrels, aligned with the gun's chamber just right so that two bullets would be able to fired at once. This revolver was aimed straight at Gideon's back. Behind the visor, Iris was hesitating. There was a certain... lack of communication here; she didn't know whether or not her sister aimed to kill this mage or not, and as such she was unsure of where to aim. But she shook her head; she had to be decisive. And so, she pulled the trigger, and a single 8x57mm bullet would fly out of the barrel. Iris' arm would fly back; the gun had quite a large kick to it. The bullet was aimed at the shoulder in which Gideon held his staff; should it make contact, the bullet would explode and likely cause some bad shit to happen.

  • Only Gideon's suddenly returning spirits would save him from a certainly destructive blow, fearing for his life upon the line. "Strafe to the left, ser!" One would screech from the afterlife, and he did so suddenly, the bullet whizzing past his shoulder and promptly embedding itself into Elizabeth's fortress of frozen armor. The armor would shatter in her left side, blood mixing with the frozen icicles of what made up Frostbitten as the woman was forced to kneel, yelling out in sudden pain. As if somehow worried by his previous enemy's cries, the bald elf would turn back, a solemn despair upon his face before he faced his new enemy. Gideon did not understand. Was it fate that saved him? Fate that cursed the woman whom was attacking, perhaps. Were the two allies, with one misfiring, or were they enemies? He found the allies theory more suitable, really. Groaning, the mage's frostbitten shoulder began to heat up, regenerating slowly. Gideon began to move back from both females, although originally facing Iris, creating a triangle between their positions as he switched views between the frozen mage and the gunslinger. He kept his hand up towards Iris, as if signifying peace.. and not noticing that Elizabeth would begin to rise, and with her, her aim - preparing to spear him for her own cruel reasons. And as Oberyn Martell once said.. DECISIONS!

  • Iris looked at Gideon's hand, and understood what it meant. She raised her visor so the mage could see her round face; fair skin, with angular features and olive green eyes. Her face looked... peaceful. As though she was accepting the mage's sign of peace. It was all a façade. Iris had no love for mages; this was shone when her expression suddenly changed to one of contempt, and she angled her chain upwards to spit onto Gideon's raised hand. Her left hand lowered her visor once more, and another bullet was fired from Iris' revolver–again, at Gideon's right shoulder. She seemed reluctant to outright kill the man... even if she did dislike what he was. A mage. Additionally she took almost no notice of her sister, and didn't even react when her bullet ended up missing Gideon and striking Elizabeth's armor.

  • The revolver shot didn't surprise Gideon, but the javelin certainly did. The round collided with his right shoulder, the man biting his tongue and almost severing it before outright yelling in pain as the arm blew open once more. Yet his mouth would remain gaping as a vicious tearing noise was heard, and Fate's Borealite spearhead found itself tearing through his chest, splitting open his sternum. Gideon collapsed to the ground, upon his knees, his body going still as blood trickled from the corner of his mouth. He would find himself falling, before lurching back suddenly as Elizabeth tore out the spear, dropping it as she wrapped her arms around his exposed neck. With one simple, agonizing twist, she snapped his neck instantly, dropping his lifeless body to the ground. From there, the woman's armor would.. melt away, exposing Elizabeth in a more human form. Her rough panting was heard as she clenched her robed side, blood soaking through the gunshot wound. It began to freeze upon her very touch, stopping the blood flow there. Once revealed.. well, Iris could see some of the changes that her twin went under during the usage of her abilities. Her skin was snow white and pearly, almost coated with a thin layer of ice, the entirety of her eyes a haunting cyan blue, her hair turning silver and old. Though it faded away, restoring her to a natural beauty - platinum blonde hair, with deep sapphire blue eyes, her skin returning to a healthy light tan. "...Revílas," She muttered, staring at the dead elf before them. For a second, nothing happened, as ice coated his own skin, encasing him and freezing his body slowly. Then, his eyes would glisten with the same cruel blue as Elizabeth's, his entire bodily system freezing into place, practically degrading itself as he rose up, slumped. The hole in his arm and chest began to fill up with ice, stitching itself together as he looked upon his new master. Whom would merely smirk, with a new confidence to her grin. ...Iris hadn't seen that Elizabeth picked up necromancy, to say the very least.

  • Before Gideon could turn completely to ice and death.... Iris quickly readjusted her aim and fired another shot at the mage, this time straight into his heart that was luckily still flesh and blood. As it was lodged within Gideon's body, instead of exploding it seemingly imploded, sucking whatever magic energy and organs Gideon had into the bullet's small chassis. After that process was done, Iris walked up behind Gideon and pulled the bullet out, raising her visor once more. Now, Elizabeth had seen Iris do plenty of stupid shit, but this was probably the stupidest thing to date; Iris literally placed the bullet into her mouth and swallowed. After a moment of hacking and coughing the bullet went down, and would dissolve somewhere inside of her. Now, whatever abilities Gideon had... Iris had them, too. "...I didn't think that that would work," Iris admitted aloud. It was the first time she had actually used that property of her bullets–she was acting purely based on what she was told. Luck was on her side. She then looked at her sister and the slowly freezing body of Gideon; Iris obviously hadn't seen this before, and her eyes were transfixed.

  • Elizabeth tilted her head a little when she surveyed that her sister had bothered to shoot the undead elf, almost raising her right hand as to say "He's dead already", before she watched Iris, with a certain horror, swallow the bullet. "Are you sure.." She muttered, before actually listening to Iris speak. A sigh of relief would escape her light lips, as she looked back at the frozen, dead body of Gideon. "...I know it's wrong. Evil. But it doesn't stop me from doing it." She muttered with a chilling tone, brushing her hand upon Gideon's jawline, studying his now emotionless features. "...I promise, Iris.. This will not be your fate. Nor our parents, that's.. crossing the line."

  • Iris snorted. "Dead people can't decide what happens to their bodies," She stated simply, holstering her revolver. She entered a few keys on her left forearm, and her armor was seemingly warped away into itself, leaving Iris in plain, black clothing; a jacket and sweatpants. She walked up to her sister, resting her warmer left hand on Elizabeth's cold cheek. As cold as ice. Her thumb trailed across Elizabeth's cheekbone, while her olive colored eyes scrutinized her sister. She eventually turning away, her hand leaving Liz while her gaze refocused on Gideon's lifeless body. "Can it... move?" Iris asked, crouching down and examining the frozen body.

  • Elizabeth originally looked as if she would say something to contradict Iris suddenly, although her words did not leave her mouth as her sister pressed her hand against the chilly skin. From there, the young woman went quiet, looking back at Iris before sighing as she looked away, questioning the corpse. In response, the lifeless elf flickered with motion, it's frozen eyes looking up at Iris before it forced itself up, utilizing it's now frosted staff as a walking stick, which even that froze: a spearhead protruded from both ends, allowing for additional usage of blade, each made of ice. "You didn't bring a.. jacket?" Elizabeth questioned to Iris, as the elven man rose. From there, she began to concentrate, until the dropped temperature began to.. loosen up, a slight heat returning to the plains. It was still cold, not to Liz of course, but it would warm up. "...We should head back. To.. that place Mom and Dad found. Dojoville, I think it's called."

  • As the frozen being rose up into a standing position, Iris took a step back out of caution, her right hand resting on her revolver's holster just in case she were to be attacked. Needless to say, she felt a little insecure around the undead elf. "I'm wearing a jacket right now. Did your eyes freeze, along with your new toy?" Iris remarked sarcastically. Indeed, she's been wearing a black jacket, the one she always wore. At the mention of Dojoville, Iris sighed, looking in that general direction. "Yeah, I suppose we need to head back," She responded in agreement.

  • Elizabeth would find herself remaining silent, instead of responding to the remark and the agreement. A subtle discomfort, though not necessarily a frown, would cross her face, before she shook her head and began to move to the east. The undead elf would turn it's frozen skull and look back at Iris, almost giving her a haunting grin before following it's.. master. Quick timeskip.. The two would find themselves upon a wooden rowboat, completed with additional covers for nighttime rest, a few packs of food and soda, alongside the few objects that Liz had bothered to bring to tinker with, and some books for when the two had stopped. Elizabeth had still refused to tell Iris why they had killed the mage.. probably for a bounty, yet they hadn't been paid. Speaking of Gideon's undead corpse.. it was rowing the boat for them, with an astonishing strength, least for a dead man. Elizabeth had studied him for quite a while, looking up from a dagger that she cradled in her hands. One that she had taken to carving out, from the elf's staff: now, a sharpened javelin of titanium was what he wielded, whilst she held a curved knife of titanium, bladed with the corrupted red energy that coursed through the edges of it's blade. "...Here," She twirled the knife with an unknown dexterity, so the blade was held in her stretched hand, the handle pointed towards Iris. Upon it's blade were.. symbols, ones of magical origin that Elizabeth had likely memorized. Runes. "The red portion.. it's dark. On it's own, it slowly devours whatever it pierces or slices. The runes add a few additional features.. it's near unbreakable against things like heat, and magic-related objects. And.. well, fittingly enough, it should sever magical bonds almost instantaneously. Not eliminate, but.. magic armoring should be rendered useless against it." There was an attempt at a smile upon Elizabeth's pale face, though it was more than obvious that the frosty nerd was in incredibly deep thought.

  • Iris slowly took the knife from her sister's hand, twirling it around in her right hand with at least equal dexterity. The examined it, then looked up at Elizabeth. "...you're practically asking for me to stab you," Iris replied, placing her right hand on her left forearm's sleeve. Once again, the knife was warped away into a storage area that could not be seen by either of the two. "Thanks, though," Iris added quickly, sitting back and watching Gideon row away. She gazed quietly over the horizon, not yet questioning the murder of the elf. If her sister wanted to tell her why, then Iris knew that she'd speak up. No point in asking about something she wouldn't get the answer to.

"I figure you wouldn't, but then again.." From there, Elizabeth would only let out a simple giggle, though she would resume a silence as well, staring upon the reflecting ocean as well, its water's eerily calm, surprisingly enough. She wanted to make a joke about "stabbing", though she wasn't one for comedy - she figured that it would've made the situation awkward, especially with a dead man rowing. Soon enough, the only sound would be Gideon's rowing, and the waves that passed underneath them. "Think about it, though. I guess this is.. a new beginning. I.. might look into the Dojo, for work and "projects". What about you? I mean, I'd figure that we could.. make cash through "work", if there is any." Elizabeth meant "assassinations and jobs involving violence" as "work", to be honest.

  • A loud thack was heard, and then something embedded itself within the body of one of the gang members, a wire attached to it, then what sounded like a zip line was heard. The man yelled in pain, only a second later a body was seen flying at him, being pulled along the wire. Feet infront, it looked like a man, who then yelled; "Wassup' assholes! Cavalry has arrived!" Then his foot connected with the mugger's body, an overly loud thud heard as the man let out a shrill yell of pain, and then the stranger landed on his feet as the grapple hook undid itself and slid into some hidden item under his duster's sleeve. A helmet was around his face, masking his features, giving off a gunslinger look in how his outfit was organized.

  • "What the f-" The remaining biotic gang member would make a massive mistake in any combat situation: turn his back from an enemy, and attempt to take on another. He would raise his rusty crowbar and attempt to bring it down upon the newcomer's head, before Ardain's flaming blade suddenly flew into action, slicing off the mugger's head in one clean, sleek slash. Ardain would then focus upon the robot, whom met the flaming sword with a blade of titanium, before slamming it's fist into the man's cheek. With Ardain forced back, it turned it's attention to the sudden arrival, twirling the katana-like blade as a flail exited it's left arm, the robot beginning to swing it behind it's back to gain momentum.

  • Cody stood upright then, pulling an odd looking sidearm from his hip, and then firing it at the machine. An arc of electricity sent a bolt between him and the metal chassis, a loud crack heard as it rapidly fried the robot.

  • The arc would find itself colliding with a sudden field of energy, the shock frying the shield as the android suddenly approached at an incredible speed. It swung the flail to Cody's side, the head spiraling towards his ribs.

  • Sticking the gun down in the path of the flail, he pulled another sidearm, a mimic of the first, and fired another bolt of electricity at the bot. Considering it was a flail, most likely it would wrap around the gun and still hit him, but it would slow it down a bit.

  • As it's shields were fried, nothing would stop the bolt from frying the robot with a sudden volt, it's body shutting down. The electricity would course through it's chain and flail, and suddenly through Cody, the shock electrocuting him (albeit, possibly at a lessened voltage).
