As the only real way out of the flaming trap the man had set up was up and Xavier had attempted to roll right, he was shrouded by flames and smoke. The burning heat would be smothering and the smoke choking. When he moved positions the man simply moved his cybernetic arm to his left, allowing the napalm inferno to continue to follow Xavier as he waded through flames–however the napalm stream was deactivated by the shock, allowing Xavier to not be hit by the worst of it.
The clone appearing suddenly caught him by surprise. But luckily, in melee the man felt like he had some time of an upper hand–when the clone was in mid-swing, the man grabbed its sword arm with his cybernetic one, the robotic joints likely superior to a flesh and muscle arm.
After stopping the arm, Xavier would feel the barrel in the man's palm heating up. Suddenly another blast of napalm occurred, and at point blank range with the barrel literally pressing up against the clone's arm....
But the man didn't stop there. His right palm struck the clone's chest, and the orange flames would spread to whatever apparel the clone wore. The orange flames changed to sapphire blue, and as did the man's eyes, reason being that his blue flames burnt flesh faster than normal fire.
