Any remaining gas or flammable items within these things would proceed to combust in fire. It all likeliness, it would be difficult for the clone to survive in such a large area of flame. From there, the man hurled himself up to the roof and sprinted to the estimated area of where Xavier would be, hopefully still scaling the wall.
