"Yeah, that'd probably help." Cylus said.
"So what brings you to the dojo? You want to find a place to settle down or are you just passing through?"

"Ah. I'm hoping none of your clocks are wired to explosives. We don't need that happening [i]again.[/i]" His tone sounded sarcastic, bluntly serious at the same time. The indigo eyes of his helmet bore into her, watching.

"No. That would be a waste of a perfectly good clock when a fuse would work just as well,"

"Tell that to the last guy that came around." Cylus sighed. Q seemed to be gazing at her cart. Very closely gazing. [quote]*My scans don't show any explosives, just a bunch of clocks.*[/quote] "Very well. So Merchant, do you have a name?"

"Chrona Arcenwald, at your service."

"Chrona... Like Chronos?" An eye on Cylus' helmet raised.

Cylus nodded and swiveled around on his heels, turning back to the dojo. Walking along, followed by Q, he gestured for Chrona to follow. "Keep up now, don't want you getting lost."

She kept up easily, one step a second.

The crowd had dispersed, but some lingered to see if anything would come next. Q trotted about and picked up and stray arrows and knives, before rejoining Cylus and Chrona. "This is one of the main courtyards." Cylus calls out. "As you can see, it's pretty big. People usually fight or train in these courtyards, so it's usually got something going on. Sometimes when I've got some things to do, my crew sends a dropship to pick me up here."

"I see." Her speech patterns are a bit odd too, perfectly timed to the heat of her clock

[spoiler]apologies for my recent disappearance[/spoiler] Cylus glanced back to Chrona over his shoulder. "I take it you are not simply a merchant. Something about you says otherwise. Do you, perhaps, fight?" he asked.
