She looks to him, resting on his shoulder. "Maybe you're right. I mean...I've lost too many people that I knew closely...I'll make sure I'll fight for them." She says, before grabbing one of the drinks somehow left unfazed by the attack. "You want some? I think it's vodka." She asks him.

"Thanks for the offer, but I'll pass. I've got my own." [b][i]He said, taking another sip of his own drink.[/i][/b] "though how about we move on from a less depressing topic, shall we? This how you treat all new arrivals?" [b][i]He says jokingly.[/i][/b]

"Velinnea. Although most people just call me Vel." She stated.

"Same could be said of you." She tells him, finally holstering her pistols, and began to take a swig of vodka.

"Eh, that was just some basic elven knifesmanship. Nothing too impressive compared to some of the ones who dedicate their entire lives to it. And even they're nothing to the Order."

"Still...last time I checked, the only ones highly trained enough to use a knife the way you did that are the Mandalorians that were trained in our own armed forces, or Deathwatch." She says, shivering a little bit when mentioning this 'Deathwatch'.

"That stuff? That was sloppy. He wasn't much of a threat to be quite honest." [b][i]He said, not like boasting, but just a fact.[/i][/b] "Though if an Order of Hassar member had been here, well let's Just say that fight would've ended much faster."

"So...your people could've ended it faster? I know that my race could end it faster; maybe a specialized soldier, or trained merc could've ended this with a wrist rocket to the head or maybe barbecuing him with a flamethrower." She says. "Unfortunately, I don't have that specialty. Least not yet."

"Not my people. I'm not even close to as skilled as one of the Order is. If one was here, that man would've been filleted in a second. Though it sounds like your people are less subtle?" [b][i]He says jokingly[/i][/b]

"Less subtle? Our guns are loud enough for everyone to hear, and last time I checked, we beaten shit better than a Krogan." She says, almost as if it was somewhat triumphantly, before taking another swig. "I'm not one of those badasses, though." She told him.

"Amen to that." She says, taking a final swig fromm her bottle. "Both our races are completely warlike...and yet we aren't. Well, almost."!
