Further down the rabbit hole
Wonderland abyss:
"So, why did you change your shape anyways"
Beyond the looking glass two figures could be seen in what looked like a endless darkness while toy houses floated aimlessly and dolls seemed to move on their own. Two chairs sat firmly on the ground as a table and chess board slowly floated down with the set all in place.
"Wouldn't you get tired of bothering a mad girl while you disguise yourself as a cat?"
Chesh and Gerald sat taking their turns across the board. Conversing like friends who haven't spoken in some time.
"Besides, the crown didn't quite fit"
Some things never changed. Cheshire had a reputation for being a strange creature. His story changed with every time he was asked making his old friend wonder why he bothered to ask.
"what time is it here anyways?"
Chesh laughed at the man's comment
"Oh time, yes there is none and no time to tell. Trying to follow a clock here is a living hell"
At a minimum Chesh's words made sense. Time was nothing more than a word in wonderland. Even the reality of the world lacked any form of sense.
"Welcome to a world where there is no such thing as time. Where every creature lens themselves to change your state of mind"
"A little dramatic don't you think?
Open. Yes I used Shinedown lyrics
