He had no idea he was being stalked.
By a Hunter, wearing dark armor jumped into the courtyard, a void bow forming in her hands as she fired a void anchor at one of the dummies.

[b][i]The man didn't even look up at it, as if he didn't notice it. The man kept his head down, as if he was distracted, locked in a world that wasn't this one. His body was tense, locked together.[/i][/b]

She walked over, patying his shoulder, "Hey."

[b][i]He paused for a moment before looking up, wiping his eye before speaking.[/i][/b] "Hey."

"You alright, bud?" She asked, kindly.

"Yeah, its good." [b][i]He said, an obvious lie.[/i][/b] "Nothing others need to trouble themselves with."

"You just wiped away tears, so I'm calling bulls**t." She adjusted the hood of her cloak. "So... what's bugging you?"

[b][i]He paused, before speaking.[/i][/b] "Before all this, I was in the military. Seven years a soldier, a damn good one too. We were sent on a mission one day, take out an enemy general deep in their territory. It was an ambush..."

"I didn't go that well, I presume."

"No." [b][i]Seemed to be all he could muster out for a deal of time. He continued.[/i][/b] "I just... I can't forget that day. I have dreams about it, I'm stuck there: I can't do anything to stop t or look away. I just relive it..."

"What happened that day, then?" She asked.

"I-I saw my squad decimated, Tyr's bike beginning to slow, his body riddled with bolts. I-I couldn't stop it. I couldn't save any of them, all I could do was watch..." [b][i]He said, each world sounding like it pained him to say greatly[/i][/b]

"I.... that's pretty deep." Was all the Huntress could say.

"And the memory comes back, and still I can't do anything to stop it. I just feel it happen all again..."

"You need to see a therapist..."

"If I did I'd be hauled back home and they'd lock me in a lab because of the abilities I have."

"Actually, I know a therapist who won't arrest you, and lock you in a lab," she said, smirking under her helmet.

"And who would that be all the way out here?"

"Alright, I'll lead you to him," she told him. She stood up.

"Thanks." [b][i]He said, standing. He was shaky as he walked, completely rattled[/i][/b]
