The Shape of the Stars: Prologue
Time was born in darkness, and all was well. Then LUMOS, the 'oh so great, Illuminator' dared to disrupt peace with Light. And then came the Stars. I hate their very shape!
But all that will end at last. Lumos is mine, and the light will soon fade.
The Dark will be at peace for I am Niobach.

Dojoville
For once, the people of Dojoville were experiencing a day of peace and tranquility. The birds sang, children played in the streets, and merchants competed in the market.
One little boy ran into an alley, searching for a lost ball. He found a man there, holding the lost object.
"Is this yours?"
The boy nodded, slightly intimidated by the tall man.
"Here, take it."
The man held out the ball and gave it to the boy, who then ran off.
Locke sighed, looking into the sky. He was on patrol, and things were shaping up to be rather dull. As he slowly treaded the streets of the city, he took note of its citizens and their interactions. He missed days like this.
Suddenly, he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned to find Tara, an exuberant, and short xeno he met soon after arriving.
"Tara? What's going on? I'm on patrol."
"I know, but we hav-"
*Crack!*
The peace quickly faded as single massive starship appeared in the planet's orbit, putting off a dark aura.
"We have to stop that ship!"
"What is that ship?!"
"I'll explain later, come on!"
The two raced through the streets until they came to the edge of town.
Tara looked at Locke, "You take care of the situation here on the ground, I'll take the mother ship."
Locke watched the field before him as she flew off. Even now, a legion of darkness gathered before him and he summoned all of his strength. He only hoped it would be enough.
So it begins. This is open to those who signed up.l, however only the first reply will get to storm the mother ship with Tara. All others will fight on the ground with Locke.
She looked up into the sky at the explosion. The Warlock seemed a bit worried. But then, she got back to it. She stabbed more soldiers with the same speed as before.
-
All of the soldiers quickly fell and Locke approached her afterwards. "Good work, you looked great out there."
-
She put her sword in her back, "I told you, I'm a badass motherf**ker. But, I didn't do it alone."
-
"Oh, really? Who helped?"
-
A white-grey, 8 inches tall version of the Warlock appeared on her shoulder. She was wearing her helmet in this paticular projection. "I did," the AI told Locke.
-
"Hm, that's interesting. Is she a clone?"
-
"She's an AI," the woman said, "She's based off me. Her name's Seraph. Mine is Sarah. Sorry if that's confusing." Seraph took a bow.
-
"Not at all, it's actually kind of clever in my opinion."
Destiny meets RVB, I like it.
-
"Well, my Ghost made her for.... not so clever reasons," Sarah told him.
-
"Really? Why?"
-
"He thought I was spending too much time with my fiance and not enough with him. So he made a copy of me to talk to," she explained. Her Ghost appeared. His shell reminded Locke of the moon. It had moondust all over it, "Hey! You don't talk to me anymore." "Yes, I do, Lunar. Yes, I do," she argued.
-
Locke laughed. "It sounds like your ghost is jealous."
-
"He is very.... jealous," she assured him.
-
"This is hilarious."
-
"But that isn't even the funniest thing. I'll you later."
-
"What is it?"
-
"So I my ex is also a guardian. My ex's Ghost, ships me and my fiance."
-
Locke burst into an even greater fit of laughter. "This keeps sounding like some sitcom. And I would totally watch it!"
-
"Yeah..." her voice became sarcastic and dark, "My life is a sitcom."
-
He noticed her shift in tone. "Sorry, that was rude of me."
-
Her voice became cheery again, "Sorry, my entire life isn't a sitcom. Only 60% of it is."
-
"Oh, ok then. Thanks for your help."
-
"Alright. But what's going on? What are those things?"
-
"I'm not quite sure, I think Tara knows though. She can explain it once she gets back."
-
"Huh. I'll ask her, then. When we meet."
