Hello, I just wanted to say that I posted two other chapters before I joined so go find those then read this. The warlock and hunter walked outside and started to walk their sides to the cliff face. They both took this time to study each other. The warlock was wearing a black robe with armor plating on his chest with Rasputins' crest on the bottom of his robes, his helmet was reminiscent of the warlock exotic known as obsidian mind but with a different color to it. The hunter wore a full set of red New Monarchy gear including his cloak. They were deep in fallen territory just east of the forgotten shore. No guardians usually come there as it's deep within the devils' territory and it should be crawling with fallen, yet it was oddly quiet. Their were no fallen to be seen. The hunter was nervous about that. As if reading his mind the warlock said, "The fallen have moved out, nobody knows where they went they're just... gone." He said with edge in his voice, " I'm sorry but I didn't ask for your name" he said turning back to look at the hunter. "It's Vultraks," he replied. "But just call me V." "Silas-28 at your service he said bowing, "But, you can just call me Silas or Sy if you prefer" He looked around as they entered a clearing. "This seems like a good enough spot. Bring your ship down and transmat us" he said turning to Vultraks. He pulled out his ghost and brought down his ship from orbit as requested. It was a cargo ship you'd normally see dropping off supplies at the tower, not the fastest thing, but V just used it for the additional space. Plus, it had some upgraded weapon capabilities. V had the ship land in front of them and opened the cargo bay doors. Silas got in followed by V who went straight to the cockpit and said down. He took of and set a course for the tower. It was silent for a bit before an alarm started flashing on the console. "We got trouble," V's ghost said panicked, " Hive tombships inbound." V took a look at one of the monitors showing a rear view of the ship just in time to see four hive ships on their tail. There was a sudden thud that came from the ships roof. V looked to see a hive tombship right above them that had dropped a knight on to their hull. V watched as the knight drove its huge sword down into the hull with both of its hands. "Uhhh, V we got a problem back here," called Silas with worry in his voice from behind. V looked back to see the sword plunged into the ship from the top and watched in horror as it moved back cutting a line into the ship. The knight grabbed both sides of the crack with its hands then pulled them apart with its hands making a hole into the ship. As the knight looked in Silas used his palm to send the knight backwards and off of the ship. An explosion was heard and Vs ghost spoke up saying, "Axion darts just hit us, external shields down to 85%." Then more hive dropped on to the ships roof and into the ship using the hole. Silas grabbed a spare heavy machine gun that V had lying around and began to mow them down just as V used the small turret underneath the cockpit to blast a hole into a hive ship that had appeared in front of them and saw it blow up. Silas, gun clicked empty as the last hive was mowed down. He used an unexpected ability that V didn't see coming and closed the hole with his mind then focused solar energy into his hand to fuse them together. "Rerouting all power to shields," Vs ghost said as more explosions rocked the ship. "No, give me power back to weapons I'm going to go after them," "Are you crazy?" His ghost said with worry and panic in his voice. In response V did it himself then turned the ship around, turrets blazing. He blasted new bullet hole into two of the hive ships watching them catch fire and blow up before the axion darts hit and they lost their engines. "We're losing altitude!"
