The girl, despite being all alone in the slums late at night, was a cautious one; she often turned her head over her shoulder to look behind her back, and while doing this, would see the man.
She wasn't sure of what do, so she simply made sure her daggers and prayers were all ready in case she was attacked as she rounded a corner.

He readied his carbine, and cleared his throat "turn around." Came a hoarse voice.

The girl was already around the corner before the man had spoken, and as such, she did turn around–the man would not see this move, though. She spoke a prayer, the same one she had used to turn invisible, as her body faded from visibility. Even the displacement of rain was not caused, as it appeared as though the rainwater fell straight through the area she had once stood. The invisibility also hid her body temperature and masked her sound entirely, just in case the man had devices that could pick that kind of stuff up. Either way, the girl clearly knew to be cautious in the location she was at.

Yet, he was a warlock. He instrinsicly was tuned to magic. He knew where she was once he rounded the corner. "I know you're there!" He said, running towards her. He just wanted to know what the hell was going on, but she had to make it difficult. The precautions were due to her shady transaction.

If the man knew exactly where she was regardless of what her own abilities did, and combined with the fact that he had a gun loaded and ready and that he was yelling 'I know you're there!', the girl only saw more reason to get the hell out of there. She began sprinting away, her footsteps made completely silent and her body still completely invisible. She would turn into a nearby alleyway, which she knew for a fact would lead to the next street over, and continued to run. She was headed towards Lux, the most populated district and also safest in Lumen Solis. Still invisible, although that happens to be irrelevant.

He kept up pace, summoning the standard issue sparrow all guardians have, and he started bearing down on her. He began to honk the horn "Show yourself! I just want to talk!"
