[i]Below, amidst all the festivities, the crowd began to part at the edge, making way for someone who walked in the middle of the street. Ike could not make him out clearly, only catching, glimpses, reflections of golden light amidst the people far below him. The throng of humanity began to cry out solemnly, the languages blurring together into lauds of shame and praise. The figure came closer, the golden light off of its armor growing still brighter. Clearly, though, it was a man, as its tall broad figure hinted towards. The man gave no heed to the crowd, some of whom fell to their knees. Others followed, still more stood in place, holding their arms out to him from within the crowd. Those to whom he mattered not, found their way to the outskirts of the festival, ignoring him. Clearly, he was a man of some amount of importance, or else a figure of such grace as to demand witness.[/i]
