"Come with me." The mysterious figure said, the gates closing.
He or she... It? led the newcomer through the rain soaked courtyard towards a building.

The man followed. "I thank you, it has been long since I have found a place this hospitable. The mountains are unforgiving."
-
"That is why you must be prepared for everything, and anything." The figure responded as the two walked into the building. It was obviously some sort of apartment, but it was mostly empty except for the essentials, and furniture. Clearly, no one was living there. "Your place for the night."
-
He nods. "I thank you for this." He places his large shoulder bag on the bed. "I don't believe I gave you my name, I am Quentyn."
-
"I am Sensei Royal. A leader of this place. Now, I must ask you some questions, if you don't mind that is." The figure- apparently Royal- said, glancing at the bag then at the man.
-
"Ask away."
-
"What exactly are you here, at the dojo, for?"
-
He smiles. "It's a bit of a long story." He sits on the bed. "Three years ago, I was exiled from my home, having been accused of a crime that I did not commit. While I held no grudge against the village, I knew I could never return, so I began something of a pilgramage. I journeyed across the world, honing my magical skills and meeting new people. Eventually I heard of this place and what it stands for. I had grown tired of travel and decided to come here. To give myself a bit of a challenge I decided to come through the mountains, though I clearly didn't pack enough heat runes."
-
"What town do you hail from, wizard?" Royal asked.
-
"Mount Haven. It is a small settlement in the far west."
-
"Mount Haven, ah yes! I remember now. I didn't realize people were actually living there, we had an expedition disappear on those islands many years ago..."
-
"I believe it was founded 20 or so years ago, I know nothing of your team."
-
"Huh. Weird. Maybe. I know there's several islands. But how is it? Living in the middle of the ocean and all?"
-
"Wet, I never did like the weather. It was also very humid. But it was my home."
-
"Until you came here, Mr. Locke."
-
"And I will ever owe you a debt of gratitude for your hospitality."
-
"Just make sure that no one comes back from your past to haunt you." Royal said this as a joke. But went on to mutter: "We have too many of those."
-
"No promises, there's this one guy I've been hunting for a while now..."
-
"Oh? Well if you need any help. This place Is great to pick up mercenaries."
-
"Well, I lost the trail in the mountains. So until I can find it, I won't need that much help. After that though I'd really appreciate it."
-
"Feel free to ask around once you... Find whatever you need. Until then, I'll leave you to your doings."
-
"I thank you once again."
End?
