Well then I don't see that as "psychological warfare" then. They're already beaten him, what would they have gained from it looking at purely psychological warfare side of it?
I'm not a fan of poor sportsmanship, it's a video game, it's not like you won anything important, but I do accept that some people's self esteem relies on their epeen in a virtual world, so it's better for the rest of us to just chuckle, shake our heads and brush this stuff off. I mean it's just pixels right? Who cares?
However, I'm just not convinced of the psychological warfare argument your pushing here.

What would they have gained after beating him? I explained that already. To make him feel some type of way to where he makes a post about it and accused people of being childish when they proceed to T-bag. When it's childish to whine about it on the forums just because you don't like it. You can drop the warfare part and call it psychological if that makes you feel better. Not to mention I did say it's also a bragging right it doesn't just have to be psychological but it can just be bragging rights. It doesn't matter if you like or not. It happens and it's going to keep happening. Bragging rights are earned not giving to people. So once again if you choose to be humble that's you. Doesn't change the fact some people are going trash talk or T-bag. I think it's funny people get mad about it. It's just a game like you mentioned so why get mad. To be honest it's the same as trash talking in real life. Some of the greats in all walks in life are trash talkers. So I'll go back to my point you can get over it or get mad. Apparently judging by his post he is getting trolled by quite a few people from being salty about it.
