Crow took the opportunity of her armored left hand being so close to Markus' blade to grab the sword, the gauntlet wrapping around the blade. Crow's grip was tight and her arm was strong, almost immovable. She used the brief immobilization of Markus' sword to aim a quick yet powerful stab with her own blade, aimed at his gut.

  • He used his own glove to grab her blade as well, seeming to take inspiration from her own movement. He rapidly twisted around, leaving his back to face her for a brief second as he wrenched both blades hard, harder than what a human should have been able to do.

  • He would manage to wrench his own blade out, the metal edge sliding through Crow's metal gauntlet, however her hold on the leather grip of her own sword remained. With Markus still clutching her blade yet with his back turned, Crow lifted her leg and kicked out, her foot slamming into Markus' back–as, of course, his back was turned. The impact would normally send any normal person to the ground, but as OP stated, Markus probably wasn't a normal person.

  • He was knocked forward, the impact causing him to yank harder on the sword. He used the momentum to fall forward, releasing Crow's blade and rolling away from her. He landed on his feet and pivoted to face her.

  • Even before the man had completely pivoted, Crow was already following up the brief stagger with a strong, diagonal slash, from her upper right to her bottom left, aimed at Markus' left shoulder.

  • Markus ducked away from it, using the momentum of his pivot to bring his sword in a slash aimed at her stomach.

  • Due to the downward motion of her diagonal slash, it was easy for her to angle her sword vertically with the tip pointing down to block the slash, however the momentum would bend her hold on it so the tip would point more at herself. She quickly stepped back two steps, for continuing to try to fight in that situation would've resulted in quite some danger, she felt. So she essentially reset, raising her sword up in front of her in the same position she had started in, once again circling Markus whilst strafing rightwards slowly.

  • Markus retook his position in the iron gate stance, his sword held low and pointing at her. He circled to keep himself tacing her.

  • Crow would step forward, raising her blade high above her head, and bringing it downwards. During the slash she would suddenly change the blade's direction to go down to her lower right and perform a low, horizontal slash at Markus' legs. The downwards slash was another feint.

  • Thanks to his stance, his sword was already in a good position. He deflected the fient with the tip, arcing the blade to catch the true swing right above the crossguard. He now had leverage, as the base of his blade was against the tip of hers, and used it to shove her blade away.

  • Her blade was indeed shoved aside, the sideways motion allowed Crow to turn her body to slightly and send a kick out, leg aimed slightly below Markus' arms. Crow aimed to stagger him back slightly, giving her time to follow up.

  • He stepped back, allowing the kick to push him out of range. "You're quite impressive with a blade."

  • "And you, as well," The woman would murmur in response. The moment she had kicked the man, she took a couple swift steps forward while he was still slightly off balance, aiming a quick horizontal slash at his torso.

  • He stumbled back and allowed himself to fall. He somersaulted backwards, taking a slight graze acoss his stomach as he did. Still, no blood had been drawn.

  • In the middle of the man's somersault, the woman's left hand would momentarily let go of her grip, her right hand still clutching it tightly. Her left hand would grab and hug the man's leg while he did his fancy flip, causing his back to hit the ground. Simultaneously, she would swing her sword in a vertical arc, aiming to strike the man's chest, all the while keeping a firm hold on the man's leg. And of course she'd stop the blade before it actually hit the man.

  • His other leg shot out, his hobnail boot connecting with her stomach as he knocked aside her blow with his sword.

  • The woman let out a painful cough, staggering, but kept a firm grip on the man's leg. Immediately after recovering her right leg would shoot out, her foot shooting out to attempt to kick the man's sword out of his hand, while her own blade was held high out of the man's reach.

  • He turned the sword so her boot connected with the sharp end of his blade and kicked her a second time.

  • As the man turned his sword, the woman's boot made contact and she stomped, slamming the sword onto the ground. This also created a space between the arm which she used to hold the man's leg and her torso, space she would use to trap the man's other leg as he attempted to kick her again. Essentially, she was now gripping both of the man's legs while her left foot was firmed planted on the man's sword. She then began moving her sword forwards, probably in attempt to place the blade against the man's neck and signify victory, although he still had one free hand.

  • His free fist connected hard with her stomach as he struggled fiercely. He pried against her one arm with both his legs as hard as he could in an attempt to free himself.

  • The punch would bend her body so she was no longer standing straight, but instead of tugging back on the man's legs she allowed herself to be pulled closer towards him. As her sword was unobstructed, the woman was able to gently place her blade against the man's neck.

  • As soon as he had realised he wasn't breaking free his hand moved to his belt. As soon as the sword touched his throat, he had a dagger touching her stomach.

  • "Oh come on, who'd win in a fight, the person with a slit throat or the person with a stabbed stomach?" The woman asked rhetorically. She knew he knew the answer; or at least hoped. She was still standing, the man was pinned to the ground. Her blade was at his throat, his was at her stomach.

  • "If I slit an artery, you'd bleed out within fifteen minutes." He pointed out, lowering his dagger.

  • She rolled her eyes. "If I slit your throat, you'd be dead within ONE minute." She raised and sheathed her sword, and extended a hand to help the man up. "It was a good duel, though."
