Bar of Blades, Dojo Courtyard I forget the designation ...know when to hold 'em, know when to fold em, know when to talk away, and know when to run... The song was just coming to an end as the bar continued on it's usually craziness mid day. Some say chatting at tables, recounting tales of adventures, some sat and ate meals with friend and family, though something seemed to be transpiring at another table. A man stormed out of the bar, clearly pissed as he left the table. At the table was one other man, the one known as Lyon, with a large stack of holographic hardlight poker chips in front of him. He had just beat the man who stormed out, claiming a good sized sum of money from the victory. He ordered another drink as a bartender passed him; a manhattan, no ice[. And so, he waited for something to happen, whether that he another opponent showing up to play, to watch a fight, or any other sort of entertainment.

 • "Jim, next one's on me." A man said as he sat down across Lyon. He wore dirty jeans, with several scratches across them as if they were worn down. He wore a black shirt, which actually seemed new, considering the jeans. "You know, there's no where to turn those chips in."

 • Leon laughed a bit as the man said that. His apparel was his usual leather jacket with battalion and squad number still on the sleeve, MSU507. He wore a white t-shirt under it, with a pair of kisser fitting blue jeans and leather boots. His hair was short, pitch black and styled a bit, but still remaining a little messy. His eyes were an amythistic colour, and his skin was tan matching the Mexican accent to his voice "For me it isn't about the money. It's about the joy of the game. Also, some people like to play with hard cash, others play for 'other' ways of payment." He said with a grin

 • The bartender returned, placing Leon's drink down in front of him on the table as the man leaned forward, placing his hands on the table. "And what exactly would those... 'other payments' be? If you don't mind me asking that is."

 • "Some people will have me set a hand limit, and whoever had the most chips when it finishes, will win a bet. That bet could be any manner of things, truthfully, too many things to describe. Of course, when you're on the road too there are other kinds of currency, not all of which legal but still a way to make money."

 • "Believe me when I say, I've seen so many currencies you wouldn't believe what they have. There's this one world, who's currency is literally organs. Hell of a place."

 • "Sounds like a place you don't want to get too drunk." He says, taking a sip of his drinks.

 • "Definitely. But you're lucky, this place accepts quite a bit of different types. Granted, it's the legal ones but you know... The illegal ones are for the weapons." He nodded his head to the counter, where the wall had swords and drinks on top of shelves with a few guns here and there. There weren't many, more drinks then actual weapons but still. "The good ones are in the back. Or so I've heard".

 • "I'm not in the market for any new weapons. My crossbow and spear still work wonderfully, carried me through my military career."

 • "In the military I was part of an MSU, motorized strike unit. My job was drive a motorcycle at the enemy with those weapons and make them break formation. You should've seen their faces when we came in." He said laughing a bit

 • "I can only imagine." The man replied with a light chuckle, nodding his head.

 • "Especially when some guys modified their bikes for certain missions. Hell, one battalion, everyone feared. You know the things they put on the front of trains, cow plies they're called? They put versions of those on their bike. Half the time didn't need their spears."

 • The man chuckled once more, leaning back in his chair as he laughed. "So what brings you here then?" He asked, after calming down.

 • "Another one." The man said with a sigh. "You're not the first this has happened to. You won't be the last. This place... It's like dimensions and time collapse."

 • His eyes scanned the three the way he did in the military, observing every detail of them. It wasn't obvious, people looking at him wouldn't think he was staring. Leon donned his usual apparel of leather jacket, white T-shirt and blue jeans, finished off by leather boots. He has clear signs of military service, three dog tags on his neck as he shuffled the cards, his movements and hands showing dexterity as he did. Eventually he held the deck in one hand, raising a hand in a wave to see how Sylvie would react

Akiko ear's swivel a bit as she talks as they move with sound she hears.

Leon Rivas." He said introducing himself to the two he had never met. He looked at Sylvie "I see the beautiful only travel with their equals in look, no?"
