• Charlia's deep midnight blue eyes, of which contrasted with her red hair, stared into Ike's pale blue pupils, as she stood in front of him, having to look down at the cannibalistic boy. Yet she did not glare with shame or distaste.. but a simple kindness. "Ike.. Charlia." She would nod her head. A simplistic introduction, to say the very least. "Charlia. We should begin tomorrow, Ike. It's late, and you should get some rest. I.. have a temporary home here, at the moment, if you want to stay."

  • While Ike had a home, albeit a temporary one, the thought that spending the night at Charlia's place would make it so that they could begin training earlier. And that prospect was greatly appealing to Ike, and so he nodded in acceptance. "Lead the way, then," He responded. His voice was still unnaturally cold, like his demeanor, likely part of what happens when the rune on his arm activates itself instead of Ike activating it. The sword of bone and leather would seemingly fade out of existence, leaving Ike empty handed–it seemed to him that there would be no need for a weapon at the current time.

  • Charlia, while initially bothered by Ike's emotionless demeanor, would give him a nod and usher for him to follow her, away from the forest and further away from Ian's burning body. The elven woman and the boy would happen to find themselves at a smaller home compared to those of Dojoville, as if only made for a person or two; not an entire family. Charlia would open the door for Ike for him to enter, flickering the lights on for him. The interior was.. relaxing. It wasn't overly luxurious or rich with precious furniture or perfect walls, but it was.. comfortable in a sense, with a smooth rug meeting Ike's feet as he walked into what appeared to be the kitchen. A table was to his immediate left, preferably for two or three people, especially with only three chairs with it, a window next to it. The sink was.. amazingly clean, funnily enough. In fact, everything was quite clean: either Charlia was a freak for cleaning stuff up (Iota would know, with the one assassination), or she had a lot of time. Perhaps both. The kitchen would section into a small living room with a couch and television, alongside a small nightstand with a lamp next to the couch, with a few rooms - probably the bedroom and bathroom - were closed by the white doors. Ike seemed free, at the moment.

  • As the door to the small home opened, the door to the bedroom would open as well, and out came a woman that would be very familiar to Charlia; with a head of short, shaggy, and light blonde hair, an angular face, pale skin, and an above average height of 5'8". She wore a rather simple, plain white tank top and comfy, short-short black shorts, which happened to reveal a lot of leg. Iota would smile at Charlia, waving slightly and nodding at Ike; she didn't really question why Charlia was bringing thirteen year old boys home; if she was a two-timing pedophile then she was a two-timing pedophile, and Iota would still love her regardless. Iota would introduce herself quickly and Ike returned the favor, before Iota went back into the bedroom and shut the door silently; Ike and Charlia likely had things to discuss. Ike looked away from the bedroom and up at the much taller woman, inquisitiveness in his expression. "So... what now?" He asked.

  • Charlia would deliver a smile and a soft peck to Iota's cheek before the sniper went to the bedroom, as she then returned her gaze to Ike and motioned for him to sit down. Charlia would sit as well, holding her soft hands together as she let out a sigh. She had never trained someone.. but she'd try, certainly. "An explanation. The things that I will teach you will likely play an important role in whatever fate you have. You seem to fight those who are evil, or.. pose a threat. Your efficiency with your blade is vital, but there's a lot more to it. If all goes to plan.. you may end up with yet another rune upon your arm, and capabilities befitting of one such as yourself. Are you fine with this, Ike?"

  • Ike thought for a moment; a second rune on his arm? The first one had put him in his current situation, but also allowed him to save himself and –avenge others when he slew Ian. He decided that there could be no harm in another one... or at least no more harm than what has already been done. "... yeah, I'm fine with that," The boy would reply with a nod. He had many questions, of course, but knew that most would answer themselves in due time. For now he could only focus on whatever training Charlia had to give. "What are we starting first with, tomorrow?" He asked.

  • "Starting with your form and such, tomorrow. If anything, I want to see how you fight in combat, instead of making assumptions about you as I did beforehand.. your abilities are useful, but it's what you learn that will save you, nothing more. You should get some sleep. We've got a long day ahead, and I don't need you to slack off."

The man was walking down a particularly dark alleyway when he heard the noise. It was a noise he couldn't quite put his finger on, because it seemed so out of place in a world such as this. It sounded ... Old. Old, yet familiar, in a world where the oldest of medieval knights roamed, along side the most futuristic of space explorers. And then the arrow seemingly came out of nowhere, lodging itself in the wall just centimeters from his face. That was it. An arrow being nocked. Bows weren't to abundant in this world of magic, guns, and swords.
*Next one is in your head.* A voice said. The man couldn't locate the source, but it seemed to be above him. It sounded real, but also... too much so at the same time. If the man were smart, he'd guess it were an A.I of sorts.
"I would listen if I were you." Another voice said, just a couple paces in front of him. This one sounded to be human. Moonlight gave a small glint off the man's helmet, revealing the silhouette of a figure leaning against a wall. Watching. Observing intently in the shadows.

  • The man smirked and, in an instant, unsheathed his rapier and dashed forward to stab the man, his eyes glowing a fiery red. "Been a while since I've seen a bow. You're an impressive shot, too." His voice was raspy and dry, yet still smooth. He was English from what you could gather.

  • It seemed almost as if the man knew that he'd attack, and simply sidestepped the attack. "You can tell him that later." he says calmly. He stepped around his attacker and sent a knee into the arch of his back.

  • Something was following him. With each death, it would draw closer, allow itself to be given away. A flicker of cobalt, a flurry of short red hair, the glimmer of emerald eyes.. The sharpened dagger, shining with a murderous edge. He had best get moving.

The figure's head turned. "Oh shite." He broke into a sprint to put some distance between them before ducking inside of an empty building.

  • There was an abrupt silence, as the man would find himself in the building. The darkness encased him, shadowing over his frame. Such an eternal darkness, especially with.. something.. watching him. From the upper floor, a light *thunk* sounded, the wood creaking slightly. There was nothing else. The man could bring the building down upon himself to eliminate.. whatever was up there.

  • The man was used to absolute darkness, as he had been in a grave for the past few weeks. He pulled his Glock out of his cloak and leveled it with the ladder to the upper floor.

  • When he reached the upper floor, he would merely find more darkness, but the room was.. brighter. The window was open, a flurry of air rushing past his being.

  • He kept his pistol aimed at the ladder and approached the window. "-blam!-in' ghosts."

  • *PEW!* Deja vu. The round slammed into the Glock's barrel, before the sound of a pistol being unloaded was heard, as the being would appear before whomever the being was. "So." The woman's figurine was revealed: a cobalt blue robe encased her body, reaching down to her knees as if enabling a sense of agility for herself. Her head would be cloaked, yet she drew a shining dagger from her sheath, an audible sigh escaping her lips. "Another gnat, who feeds off of vermin. This should be quick."

  • The man dropped his Glock and removed his hood to reveal the bloody and horribly disfigured face of Ian. He unsheathed his rapier and assumed a defensive stance. "Fuсk off."

  • There was but a soft chuckle of which escaped Charlia's hood, before she would proceed onwards. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gNmv1-iRXfI She would immediately get close: not close enough to where she would be in physical danger against his fists, but close enough to disrupt the usage of the rapier. She would utilize her uniquely curved dagger for this approach, anyhow.

  • Ian backed up and maintained his stance. "Do you know what tha' little сunt, Ike, did to me?" He gestured to his face with his free hand. "Your kid's a fuсkin' cannibal, miss."
