The Warlock Kalianna was hurt seeing all the dead plants. She loved plants. Since trees were strong and sturdy, like she wished she was, she looked in horror to their destruction. She cried underneath her helmet, a certain variant of the Raven Sheath armor. "Don't worry, Kali, life always returns," her Ghost reminded her. Kali walked along the Forrest, wondering what cruel person would do this.

 • It was charred. Ashes fell to the ground around her, the trees becoming more and more destroyed as she progressed. The undergrowth vanished completely, anything left crumbled at the slightest breeze. As she neared the center, the trees thinned considerably, until it was almost a barren wasteland. In the center, however, among the still smoking ruins, some thing, be it a small tree or a shrub or perhaps a person, sat, encircled by a ring of glowing embers.

 • Kali approached the person, seemingly very angry. Her despair had left behind a trail of violets that were being burned. The violets seemed to be trailing her, following her for protection. Kali pushed the person over.

 • Immediately, the embers in the circle danced to life, roaring a ring of fire into the air, almost a thunder dome arena. The person stood slowly, brushing herself off calmly. On her, hanging from a belt, was a large axe, sharp and probably dangerous. Both her hands were encased with flame, harming her none, just as she seemed unphased by the air around her, that was getting very, very hot. "S'cuse me, what bills do you pay to be shoving people over?" She spoke on an accusatory tone, a very modern one, actually, very different than her rough clothes would've projected

 • The Warlock quickly gestured to wasteland around them. She was silent due to shyness. But brave enough to speak for all lifeforms that were destroyed. Some poinsettias started to grow around Kali. She growled in anger.

 • "You gesturing to the forest I just saved from total decimation or the natural cycle of life? Speaking would help, you know." She adjusted her hood, flames licking at the cloth but not catching. The air was dangerously hot now, the ashes on the ground were swirling as the inherent vortex of the ring began to form in force.

 • "Now to tell me how exactly you saved it?" She asked. Her voice was dead, silent, but she was growling. She seemed very, very mad about this.

 • "Well, it was burning, I saw it was burning, determined at which point the optimal undergrowth clearing and ash production was achieved, and put it out. I could've left it to burn the entire thing, but these trees aren't designed for that kind of burn, so I stopped it short." The fire ring started to dissipate a bit, the flame noticeably dimmed as volume of it dropped. Still boiling hot, however.

 • "I...." She seemed speechless. She thought out long and hard. "What did those plants ever do to you? I understand you tried to save them, but you let some burn to the ground."

 • "Sit." She said simply as the flame ring fell back to the ember ring, as she herself sat down cross-legged, lowering her hood as the heat almost entirely dispersed, becoming much more tolerable and not face scalding. Her face was slightly angular, with roughly cut short black hair. Nothing special, she looked perfectly human.

 • "First lesson of the flame. The world goes on with, or without you. Your actions should never prevent this flow. Second lesson, the flow is self-destructive. Restrict it, but never prevent it. What do these rules tell you?"

 • "I do not follow rules of flame. I follow rules of vegetation." Her voice was soft and quiet, "And one of which is to return."

 • "You're not following me, so I guess I'll tell you what they mean. The world will move on without you. This is the flow. The natural progression. Things happen wether or not you do anything. You can affect the flow, but to go against it is to challenge the world itself. To block it is a crime against everything. The flow, however, is self destructive. The world yearns for balance and equilibrium. This often means it is self-destructive. Forest fires, earthquakes, meteor impacts. They all seek to render everything down to pure and total anarchy, perfect equilibrium. This is not good for us, however, so we must retain control over the flow. Guide it gently away from the dangerous things while still staying on the proper path." She gestures around "Destruction is often part of the proper path."
