The gates would find themselves to rattle upon Stephanie's three separate knocks, the wooden and metallic shaking and almost humming with a deeper noise before the gates stopped in place, the looming entrance and it's shadow going still as Stephanie continued to wait for one to arrive. A minute passed. The skies began to darken slightly, a trickle of rainwater brushing past Stephanie's shoulderplate, dripping off of it slowly. Speckles of rain began to fall upon the brilliantly crafted gates and the giant of a woman whom stood outside, though not enough to prove to be a flurry of rainfall. Not yet, anyway. In the brief distance, perhaps amongst the light poundings of rain against the steel-plated and concrete walls, the quiet steps of a pair of feet began to make their way up the rugged grey steps, a soft splash heard within a small puddle as the arriving figure made their way up towards the fortress that was the Dojo. The winds had begun to pick up a little, now, breezing past Stephanie's armor and whisking into the corners of each plate, yet leaving her to pass onwards to whomever was behind her. Soon, the individual would arrive, their figure going still as they looked up at the mighty walls of the Dojo. Yet, the being, cloaked in a garb of patched, tattered dark blue fabric, did not seem to be entirely still, their figurine shaking with an ominous chill, before their hooded head turned to face the much taller Stephanie. To begin, the being was.. oddly feminine. Even as she was wrapped within a tightly bounded, royal blue cloak, patchy and torn at the ends, with lining of a light cotton cloth running through the strands - her body was encased within what may have been a set of armor, continuous pieces of blue cloth hanging from the plates. The set of armor began with a smoother plate, or rather, plates, wrapping around the woman's chest and stomach region, each piece bounded by tight straps of what may have been a synthetic material, though leather-like and strong in construction. The plates themselves were ceramite, intended for CQC and deflecting bladed weaponry with the structure of the plates. Wrapping around these plates would be more deep blue cloth, whilst the cloak which bounded around her body was tied around her neck by a simple leather bond, nothing more. The left shoulder held another plate of armor, a masterfully crafted pauldron, whilst the right arm did not, instead seemingly focus for agility rather than defensive virtue. Indeed, the armor set entirely was focused for agility and melee combat, or perhaps stealth if it was the woman's interest. The helmet of which bounded around her head was futuristic, in design, in a sphere-like shape around her skull. The primary material of the smoothened ball-like helmet was ceramite, though the point from the chin to the forehead, and the left portion of the jaw to the right, was merely a dull glass: a light blue circle was centered within the middle, staring out like a cyclops towards the much taller Stephanie, almost as if studying her. Waiting for her, almost, to spark up a conversation. But first, they would have to get into shelter. Bounded tightly to the woman's right side of her waist, was a twenty-five inch long sword - a katana in design, the sheath made of a dark leather and kept tightly around her waist via a black belt. While the blade was hidden, the handle and pommel was not: the handle of the weapon was carbon black, wrapped in light leather to comfort one's grip, even was the woman had taken to wearing gloves of which the paddings upon each digit and palm had the same leather. The pommel was flat and dull: as usual, the weapon relief upon it's blade, nothing more. Two twelve inch long, or foot long, Dirk-like blades were kept upon the woman's back, sheathed behind her shoulder blades and secured tightly by the leather straps of which bonded pieces of light armoring and plates together. The sheathes for both knives were so tightly buttoned and strapped, it was purposeful so that one would not sneak up and ram one into the back of her head. Though, it appeared that the woman didn't misjudge Stephanie, even as she hulked above her stature and she remained as silent as ever. The final assortment of weaponry was a simplistic, old energy pistol: the weapon was kept in fantastic shape, though seemed foreign within the holster of which it lied within, behind the armored woman's back. The barrel of the weapon was a few inches long, while the pistol had a pair of additional sights upon it, the handle bounded in leather and yet oak wood. Cooling vents were established in the sides of the weapon, in the case of overheating, alongside something of a HUD behind the upgraded sights. As the woman looked up at the might super soldier, it wasn't initially clear of what she thought of the literal giant if the soldier, as the brief rumble of booming thunder rambled in the distance. The rain began to heighten a little now, as the ominous woman looked up at the greying skies, returning her watchful, technological cyclops screen eye towards Stephanie afterwards. "...My apologies, ma'am," The woman spoke, in something of a Japanese accent, and yet with an apologetic, forgivable tint to her already light voice. Even when muffled by her helmet, her voice would carry some weight, as if she flourished with some amount of experience. She did not have the tone of a fully fledged warrior, oh no.. but one who served upon that path of combat, perhaps seeking a perfection of one's self. Indeed, with the modified katana and the almost samurai-like armoring, perhaps she wished to perfect herself throughout combat. "-The Dojo is a place that you may freely enter, in this day of age. I do not know why the gates have not creaked open as they always have.. but if they shall not open to you, then they shall open to me." There was almost an anger in her voice. As if it was disrespectful, for the doors to not open as the unnoticeable giant of a woman stood outside, drenched with dirt and seemingly facing a storm in the midsts. Perhaps she was too much of a perfectionist, but that negativity was held back by her pure politeness. "...Sorry, again. I should probably introduce myself.. I am Luana, a member of this Dojo and assigned Tester." Luana's visor would clear, as she raised up her right hand from her waist to shake Stephanie's, in a sign of apparent trust and even friendship. As the visor cleared, Stephanie would find herself looking upon a younger woman: Japanese in origin, with fair light skin and a sharper face, her jaws almost edged before meeting her small chin. Her hair was a nightly black color, almost a deep see blue at the tips, her mouth small yet tied into a little smile. Her nose was small, though curved a little and appeared perky, whilst her cheekbones were high and strong. She was pretty in a sense, maybe even beautiful. The most noticeable portion would be her eyes: deep blue in color, as untouched and pure as an ocean, while giving off an aura of noble origin and even peaceful upbringings. Yet, they would give off a sadness as well, as if this.. "Luana".. had seen things that others would not abode well to.
