Once he saw you get close he went paler then he was. With his white fur and his skin tone, he looked like a ghost. He gripped his knife tightly, and his eyes looked up at hers, wild and hunted. A Soldier like you made him uneasy, and beyond actual reason.
"Y-You're not.....not one of...THEM....are you?"
He queried, his voice timid, small, and quavering. Whoever "They" were, it might have something to do with his condition, or it might've been a delusion brought on by blood loss. He couldn't do anything, so a small kid like him could be easily scooped up.
"P-Please don't hurt me."
And whatever species she thought he was, that didn't seem the case. He didn't recognize her at all, or her kind really. The only thing he knew about her was that she was big and scary, probably something out of a child's own imagination.
