A small child watched the woman, in the shadow of one of the cherry blossoms lining the path up to the gate. He wore a small hospital gown, the lower half covered in blood. He held a small knife, but the most astonishing thing was his bodily appearence. He seemed animalistic, covered in white fur. His face had a snout from which two small (and rather cute) fangs protruded from his upper lip. On top of his head were two small horns, about an inch each in size and still covered in velvet. His eyes seemed odd, blue not only in the irises but the pupils and the whites, giving it various degrees of blue. His feet were actually paws, three toed and with claws at the end of each toe. His hands had claws at the end of each finger, and they had paw pads on the palms and tips of his fingers. But, something was wrong. He swayed on his feet as he watched, and what seemed the worst thing about it was that....it seemed to be HIS blood staining the gown. He held a knife, it seemed some poor guys pocket knife. The blade was stained with someone's blood, but that didn't matter as his hands were shaking so bad it seemed unlikely he could harm anyone.

 • The child, when he saw the super soldier, would have had to look up even from the distance at which he stood. She was taller, much taller than him, maybe even twice his height. At two-hundred-seventy-one centimeters, eight feet and nine inches, towering like a building; like a mass of metal and flesh. He could not even be sure if it really was a woman but rather an automaton for war and turmoil. I saw the furry child, of course I did, but when I noticed the furry kid was worrying. I could have sworn he - or she - was not there when I originally approached the gate. The dizziness that yet lingered within my head messed with my senses, I knew, but it did not make me blind. A slight sense of uneasiness spread over my mind, oozing from the dark depths that held my worries. ”He's like ‘em aliens on Theta-556,” “I thought to myself, the words lingering. ”The species tha’ screwed us all royally.” My first instinct was to aim and shoot, yet my subconscious and with it, my common sense, both argued against. He was only a child; small and wounded. His own blood soaked his hospital gown, and I did not doubt he could hurt anyone - let alone myself - in his current condition. His condition was worrying, truthfully. “Hallo,” I spoke with a gentle, shushing tone to my voice, the slight static undertone of my helmet falling away as the communications device turned off. “Nae reason tae keep the knife. Le's git ye on inside ‘f ‘ere, for medical treatment.”

 • Once he saw you get close he went paler then he was. With his white fur and his skin tone, he looked like a ghost. He gripped his knife tightly, and his eyes looked up at hers, wild and hunted. A Soldier like you made him uneasy, and beyond actual reason. "Y-You're not.....not one of...THEM....are you?" He queried, his voice timid, small, and quavering. Whoever "They" were, it might have something to do with his condition, or it might've been a delusion brought on by blood loss. He couldn't do anything, so a small kid like him could be easily scooped up. "P-Please don't hurt me." And whatever species she thought he was, that didn't seem the case. He didn't recognize her at all, or her kind really. The only thing he knew about her was that she was big and scary, probably something out of a child's own imagination.
