Olivia was already swinging her round shield in retaliation, throwing her body around the shield's protection. Her original intent was to deflect Caye's blade and then bash her head in (though not in a killing manner.. Olivia doesn't want to kill her). The first did work - the blade was knocked back from the edge of the shield, though no doubt that Caye would assault again and take advantage of Olivia's trapped state. In an effort to get Caye off, Olivia grunted as she reared back her right arm, the shield still being gripped, promptly pulling Caye with her. She then brought the shield back towards Caye's chin, the flat portion to be exact: the rim would possibly kill Caye, and Olivia thought that it was enough to both smack her with a heavy shield and her own hand, if Caye was still holding on. Describing a move of which you're bashing someone's head in, and attempting to write it peacefully because Olivia is surprisingly nice, is difficult. She's like Jaime Lannister. Without inсest. I swear that Nathanial and Olivia have nothing between themselves. I think.

  • Caye was indeed still holding on, however she had shifted her hand so that her palm was on the flat portion of the shield, and pushing back, stopping the shield in its tracks before it could hit her. Using Olivia's force to her advantage, Caye quickly lashed out with her left leg, kicking Olivia's wounded knee with a great amount of speed, boosted by her exosuit. As she did this, she aimed a other horizontal slash with her scimitar, more or less at the same location.

  • Olivia immediately forced out a yell, one that started with "Fu-!" before she fell onto one knee. Yet her right hand swerved back, slamming the rim into Caye's hand whilst allowing another burst of energy to leave it, forcing both to slide back. ((1155)) Olivia slowly forced herself up, only knowing that Caye's wrist probably wasn't in a great condition after that.. she didn't let that stop her, though.

  • Caye's saving grace was the fact the she had armor surrounding her wrist, however judging by the cry of pain, it was probably dislocated or fractured; not outright broken tho. But before Olivia could slowly stand up, Caye aimed another powerful kick at her wounded knee, aiming to force her back down and beat the crud out of her with her left hand–unlikely, but Caye could hope.

  • Olivia let out yet another pained yell, though she used her other leg to trip Caye, sweeping underneath her feet. Olivia herself attempted to rise up from her distasteful position - though that was difficult, with one arm and a basically destroyed leg.

  • As she fell backwards, Caye would quickly grab the spear on her back and jam it into the ground behind her to keep herself from falling, kicking the wounded knee a third time and shoving Olivia's slow-rising body at the same time.

  • Olivia was forced to her knees again, shaky breaths and short yells escaping her throat as she clawed into the ground with her only hand. She flipped around to face Caye, beginning to crawl back and once more, attempt to stand.

  • Caye raised her right leg and shove it down on Oliva's chest, pinning her to the ground before she could stand back up. She leaned forward, putting her weight on her right leg, before lifting her greatsword off her back. "Give up," She muttered to the Dragonslayer. "Or your leg gets cut off."

  • Olivia grunted as the foot stomped onto her chest, her right arm remaining still as she studied the greatsword. She didn't exactly have faith that she could block, and her mana pools were low.. but she'd find a way. Or try. "My leg...?" Olivia sighed, before continuing. "The lion does not surrender, not even to the dragon. Proceed." mfw that's not a GoT quote i swear it.

  • Caye let out a sigh, slamming the blade of her greatsword into the area just above Olivia's right knee. Gravity, her innate strength, and her exosuit all aided the greatsword shredding through armor, flesh, and bone, to cleave off half of Olivia's right leg. She raised her right hand, the gauntlet igniting with flames once more. Caye's face was emotionless as she pressed the flames to the wounded created by severing the limb, once again causing burning agony to flow through the Dragonslayer; but hey, at least she wouldn't die.

  • Olivia was somewhat prepared for the pain this time, biting her lip and holding back her screams. A trickle of blood left her lip, from where her teeth had dug into her mouth with such intensity. When the cauterization began, she let loose her painful yells, her remaining hand seeking to hold onto.. something. She almost reached to Caye, but fell back, tearing up dirt as her bare hand tore into it. When the process was over.. Olivia merely sighed. "...Why?"

  • "Why?" Caye raised an eyebrow, stowing her greatsword on her back. She extended a hand to her opponent in a kind yet rather idiotic gesture, as Olivia could easily pull Caye down and beat the ever-living shit out of her. But Caye knew that she'd deserve it, after severing two of the Dragonslayer's limbs. "... because you'd die otherwise." It was as simple as that.

  • "Heh.." Olivia smiled, painfully yet.. comedic, almost. "...The dragon whom spared a dragonslayer, over.. death." The woman almost seemed sad. Hell, that was something, as she wasn't even angry. She reached up with her remaining hand, gripping Caye's gloved hand, yet neither pulling Caye down or pulling herself up. Olivia almost looked as if she was expecting something, her blue eyes almost glassy in color. She wanted Caye to choose. It was too odd.

  • Caye's expression became bemused as she looked down at Olivia's indecisive self. She was unsure what the Dragonslayer was doing... if she wanted to stand up, she oughta just stand up. "Well, what do you want me to do?" She asked. "Pull you up and baby you, as though you were some child? You're better than that. I know you are." Her eyes narrowed slightly at Olivia; this was her decision, not Caye's.

  • For a moment, a soft awe crossed the redheaded woman's face, before she nodded and pulled herself upwards, her knee popping a little. Olivia couldn't stand on one leg, least for not a while.. and especially not in her exhausted state. She didn't hesitate to wrap her arm around Caye, breathing in slowly.

  • This isn't right, Caye thought to herself as she supported Olivia. She began walking aimlessly towards her own room within the dojo, contemplating the situation. She was a Dragonslayer, and Caye was a dragon; it just didn't work. So, she thought up a plan–or more like copied somebody else. She grimaced to herself as she thought of it, and Olivia would surely notice the grimace. They soon arrived at Caye's room, and she pushed the door open. Within the room there was no sign of it being an ordinary bedroom; there were no windows, no bed, only a closet and a bathroom. There was a single chair, the chair that Caye sat in at night to contemplate her life decisions.

  • "...I'm sorry." Olivia could notice the grimace that appeared upon the woman's face, while she felt uncomfortable about the entire situation as well. She almost felt bad for Caye. She shouldn't have to care for a crippled woman, and yet here she was. At the first sight of the room, Olivia shook a little: it reminded her of the training that she undertook to become a Primus. She tried to give up that life. It wasn't working, to say the least. At any rate, she sighed, allowing Caye to.. lead her around, for now.

  • Caye led Olivia to the chair, sitting the cripple down and leaning against the wall of her prison like room. She rubbed her eyes slightly, before looking at the Dragonslayer. "... why the hell aren't you angry? Mad? You should be fuсking hating me right now. I pulverized and severed your arm, cut off half your leg... and here you are, apologizing for some random shit nobody has a clue out. So what gives?"

  • "...What gives? What.. gives?" If Caye's goal was ticking Olivia off, she was one step closer. "What gives is that you're the only person in this stinking shithole that would bother to help with wounds, at least other than the cowboy JT and the anti-mage or whatever, Sam. What gives is that you bother to help a fuсking dragonslayer, when you're a goddamn dragon. So what if I die? All I have is one kid and.. that's it. That child barely knows his own mother, because I've left him with my fake parents who only took me in because I was homeless. That's that." Olivia attempted to lean up against the wall, slowly rising to her one foot. She sighed. "...Just drop me off, outside. Thank you for bothering with my stupidity. I'll find a wheelchair, or JT.. something."
Gonna go into first person for this....
I felt the muscles in my face change, shift. She believed that nobody would care for her wounds. She thought that nobody would care if she were to die. She had a child... a child she left with people who she claimed were fake parents. People kind enough to take her in, yet.... If my face showed anything to Olivia, it was probably rage. Because that was all that I felt at that moment. The things I wanted to say, the things I wanted to spit into that ungrateful, selfish face... I felt every one of my muscles tense up in an effort to stop myself from striking the woman. I calmed myself down through slow breathing and cool thinking. After a long, long moment of utter, tense silence, I finally replied in a soft, hoarse whisper. "You'll learn to love what you have before it's all gone, I hope." That was all I said. There was nothing more I had to say to Olivia. With that, I sealed my lips and lifted the Dragonslayer from the chair I had sat her down in, complying with her wishes as I brought her outside the complex, back into the courtyard. I then pulled back from her side, letting her stand on her own.

  • A loud explosion echoed all around the complex, as the tungsten-carbide rail exited it's chamber at a ludicrous speed and towards Caye. It was far too late for her to react as the rail slid right through her chest, now a hole, and punctured through the building before finally halted by a wall. The perpetrator who did this? None other than Samuel Weiss, the same 'anti-mage' Olivia had mentioned. A literal puff of smoke had appeared besides Caye, it cleared and lo and behold, Sam with his HF Blade out. "I hope you find peace in death. I shall bury you when I can." He had whispered to Caye, raising his blade to decapitate her.

  • Caye's eyes widened as she dropped to the ground, a large amount of blood being coughed from her throat and spilling over her chin, neck, and armor. Her head twitched to stare up at her killer, but she could hardly see him. Instead, her near-death mind dived into the past, the memories flashing in front of her eyes in a second. She croaked out one last sound, a name. "... Vance...." And with that, she fell limp, her head striking the ground. Free to be mutilated and abused.

Sam turned to look at Olivia, a solemn look on his face. "I wish I could have found you a lot sooner...you look like shit. I.......go to the medical center in the dojo. They can get you prosthetics. That cyborg isn't around with his bacta tank, so I can't get him to regenerate your limbs. Uh....here, use this as a support." Samuel grabbed Olivia's remaining arm and lifted her up and handed Olivia his HF Blades sheathe, it was kind of inconsiderate, but he couldn't do much else, he just wasn't that kind of guy to relieve others and tell them 'it's okay'. Thus he dragged off Cayes body, because he didn't want a shit ton of blood on his bodyglove. He heard about some freak drinking Dragons blood and gaining powers, this woman had a dragons arm, not to mention he heard of dragon scales being rather useful for protection....maybe he should test that.
