Cylus obviously didn't want the bullet to hit him, so he had prepared for the reaction. With a quick sidestep, the bullet whizzed past him, just fractions of an inch from his chest. With that, he pulled one of his two Mk23 pistols with a twirl and aimed it at JT, tilting his head one way. His gun seemed to be modified in more ways then one could count, so it was hard to say just what might come out of the barrel. "Now that wasn't very nice either. We just gonna play around or are we going to fight?"

[i]JT allowed the guns at his hips to kick up and start firing just then. They used thermal recognition software and picked up on Cylus' heat signature, which it started to fire streams of .308 bullets at without err. JT would put one foot behind him and kneel slightly to act as stabilization for the guns. [/i]

Cylus rolled out of the way, leaving two metallic spheres in his place. One exploded and filled his half of the arena with smoke, the other opening and letting out a burst of light. Q had informed Cylus of the guns' heat seeking systems, and adviced that he used flares to render them useless. "Pretty cool! Shame they have to go to waste like that!" he shouted from within the smoke.

[spoiler]How do you roll away from guns that are straight up using thermal aim to to deliver a collective 1800rpm of bullets that snipers use? GTFO with that and put some logic in. [/spoiler]

[spoiler]Metahuman not metal human And impulse is Cylus' "time slowing ability" mixed with his reflexes, in which everything around him can slow from what ranges such as bad slow mo or a deathly crawl. The slower he makes things the shorter time he can use it, and vice versa. So he just barely slowed it enough for him to roll out if the way and drop bombs[/spoiler]
