"Dammit. I'll have to get this repaired later."
[b]He was able to take out one, then the ship vanished again[/b]
"Let's see if this works."
[b]After a brief moment, the ship that had just been firing stopped. It began to drift as it seemingly lost all power...[/b]

The ship that lost power kept gliding in a single direction away from them. Meanwhile osprey gunned down another ship.

[b]A moment past, and the other remaining ships began to falter. Whatever Cain was doing, it was working...[/b]

The last two ships left the area and sped away from Cain in two different directions. "What he doing there, Cain?"

[b]He gunned them down, making sure to not leave any survivors[/b] "Oh I just disabled some ships with a certain EMP signal to help out. I'm am pretty much a machine at this point. Anything else I can do?"

He could only take down one since they went in different directions. "Yea, please help with the last one, then we need to get in the mothership." The last ship came back around and fired all it had, four missiles and all of the ammo in its Gatling guns.

[b]Cain's ship flew up behind it and proceeded to gun it down[/b] "There. That should do it." [spoiler]At any point will we be accessing orbital death weapons? I want to see if my character will be able to hijack them and try to kill everyone. As a sort of betrayal,[/spoiler]

[spoiler]There will be later, but good luck with betrayal.[/spoiler] "Alright, they're also on the mothership. Once we clear them out, we will be good." Osprey flew his ship in and landed in the docking station. There was an open spot next to his ship.

[b]Cain did the same, parking it next to him and powering it down. He proceeded to disembark[/b]

They entered the mothership together and found friendlies running about everywhere. The enemies were in the halls and rooms of the ship. Osprey led him down one hall toward the control room. Enemies blocked both exits to the hall, esch equipped with laser rifles. They started firing from both sides of the halls.

"Do you know if they have taken control over the mothership yet?" [b]He drew his auto rifle, firing at a few hostiles[/b]

He killed them, clearing a path to the next room. "I don't think so, but we need to get there before they do." Two soldiers tackled osprey and Cain from behind and drew their lightning swords. They hit cain's back with them.

[b]While mostly absorbing, the attack began to mess with his cybernetic body. He was able to turn and draw his pistol before it fully set in. Cain was able to take out one...[/b]

He shot the guard on him, knocking him back, but not quite killing him. The guard drew his rifle and started shooting Cain. Meanwhile, osprey managed to get the other one off and started stabbing him with his spear.

[b]He managed to conjure up a shield as the effect wore off. He fired one more, effectively killing him[/b]

After both were dead, they made their way to the control room. Upon entry, the enemies grabbed the pilots and held them hostage. Two armored soldiers poked out from behind two control panels and started firing at osprey and cain.

[b]He returned fire, distracting them in the efforts to possibly save the hostages[/b] "*sigh*"

The soldiers ate the shots with ease, slowly moving forward. Osprey deployed his metal wings and flew upwards. He fired shots at the heavily armored troops, bringing everyone's attention away from Cain for a moment.

[b]He turned on his cloaking ability, killing the men holding the hostages before they knew what happened. Cain then brought out a grenade and threw it towards the armored soldiers[/b]

The grenade injured the armored soldiers both, but they were still alive. One started shooting the pilots and the other rained a stream of bullets at Cain.

[b]Cain diverted power into a temporary shield to protect the pilots, leaving his exposed. The bullets damaged his armor but he managed to throw another grenade[/b]

The heavily damaged his armor with their rifles before finally dying. It was quiet in the control room again. The pilots watched, seeming in shock of all that happened and Osprey approached Cain. "Good fighting, we saved the mothership. Gives us a fighting chance."

"Well now we've cleared the ship. We just need to prepare for our next move later on..."

"And what would that be?"

Osprey pointed out toward the large emptiness. They could see a space station far out, floating alone. "We're going to capture that thing. It has some valuable resources."
