[i]Osprey got into his starship and turned it on. The engines on the back roared and he started to take off. Flames burned out of the jets and his shipped ascended into the air along with a few others. They flew vertically until they eventually escaped into the void of space.
From there, the stars were brighter and everything was quieter. In the distance, they could see lights beaming in all directions and ships flying around. Osprey got on the comms and alerted the others what was going on.[/i]
"The enemy Peregrine is taking our mothership! Get on your guns and let's clear em out."
[i]As they got closer, Osprey readied the double machine gun on the top of his ship.[/i]
[spoiler]Open for space group, if you don't have your own ship, you are in Osprey's ship using his gun.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]ya bitches thought I wasn't gonna use this anymore, didn't ya?[/spoiler] [i]Jetting past Osprey's starcraft and leaving a trail of thick, black smoke was the Dreadnought, Garin Fohrik's personal bewitched Destroyer. The ship fired off a few volleys from its laser turret before Garin's smooth-as-silk voice crackled over the comm-channel. [/i] "Osprey, I'll act as a shield and try to block most of the shots from enemy ships. My Dreadnought is nearly invincible, don't worry."

The dreadnought began to take thousands of hits from the ships as they each had Gatling guns attached as well as missile launchers. Osprey flew around it, also firing at this ships as they became distracted by the dreadnought.

[i]The laser turrets that lined the Dreadnought's sides and spine fired off shot after shot, obliterating another ship every second. The Dreadnought would eventually start to take damage, though only after minutes of combat. An explosion ripped through the ship, cutting a gash in its hull. [/i] "Osprey, this thing isn't gonna hold up much longer. I'm gonna punch it and take out as many ships as I can to clear a path, alright? Lieutenant, divert power to forward shields, engines and turrets. I'll see you on the other side, O." [i]The Dreadnought's engines flared white as the ship flung itself towards the enemy ships. Most of the shots simply bounced off of the ship's shields while the crew of the Dreadnought had decided to man the extra turrets. The turrets did not stop firing for a solid three minutes until Ospret heard Garin's voice explode into his ear.[/i] "We're being boarded, O. We can handle it, I know we can, or we would activated the self-destruct protocol already. *gunshots* *sound of metal on leather* *screams of pain* *more gunshots* *sound of man choking on blood* "Like I said, we'll handle it. Go."

"We'll handle it quick, they're boarding the mothership, too!" Osprey's shipped landed in the mothership, he got out, running inside and handling it himself for as long as he could.

[i]Garin continued to fight alongside his crew for a good 20 minutes until each and every one of the boarders was dead. As they bodies were rounded up, the evidence was clear that they would win against the enemy. For every Peregrine body there was a third of a crew members' body, and there had been over a hundred boarders. They had won, but at what cost...[/i] "Osprey, can you hear me? We've beaten back the boarders and are making our way towards you."

"Got it, we're having trouble over here, so please hurry." He could hear gunfire and explosions in the background.

Garin turned to his lieutenants. "Ready a dropship. I want at least 20 people with me. Any volunteers?" Everyone in the command room stood. "As I would expect. Now let's move." *insert weapon-show-off montage* A few minutes later, they were fighting alongside Osprey and the others.

[spoiler]Im gonna make this a bit harder since you're using cannon fodder, so in the future, I'll provide them. [/spoiler] Inside, dozens of enemies were occupying choke areas such as halls and doorways while others proceeded to the control room. Osprey fired purple blasts out of his staff at them from behind cover.

"Lieutenant! Push to the left hallway! We need to get out of this hangar!" Garin's first lieutenant, along with five others, rise from cover and made a mad dash to the hallway, mowing down the enemy soldiers blocking their path. Garin rose with them, but did not move. Instead, he had unsheathed his swords and was now blocking most of the shots that were coming towards them. "Osprey, can you project a shield with that staff of yours?"

"Yep, gimme a second." Osprey twisted a piece of the staff and the crystal turned yellow inside. He shot a yellow wave forward which turned into a large barrier for them. He began to punch down the hall.

Clover ended up following Osprey into the machine guns, going into it. "Heh...reminds me of that one weapon Grover used to always carry...forgot what it was called..." She reminisced, before firing the machine gun at any enemy ships.

Two golden ships hovered by making easy targets as they unloaded into the mothership.

She proceeded to fire toward the golden ships, for some reason an evil smile on her face as she did so.

Osprey noticed her smile as he looked back for a second. "Having fun back there?" Meanwhile, the two ships were destroyed, bringing attention to them. Three more flew towards them and began firing at Ospreys ship. He started dodging and weaving as they fired.

"HAHA! I never thought holding a giant gun like this could be this much FUN!" She screams out, opening fire on the ships, as the ship weaved through the fire.

Bullets hit the gun she was firing and bounced around. It could take some shots, but not too much more. The ships dove right onto Osprey's from the back.

She continued opening fire in the ships, careful to (hopefully) not damage...but at this point, Clover didn't exactly know what to do to stop bullets from hitting the gun...other than blowing the enemy into pieces, of course.

Not much could be done to stop the ships except dodging and killing them. Their weapons were better, but they were also slower. Only a few remained, but osprey's ship was starting to see more damage. Two came from a blind spot of the gun. She had to be quick to shoot them as the ship turned about.

She quickly moved to the two ships from before, firing as many rounds as she could into the oncoming enemies.

She destroyed the ships and the mothership helped with others as best it could. Only three more remained. They teamed up and followed behind.

"Um...hey guy, got something else I could use; we got enemy ships from behind!" Clover yelled out, trying to fire her cannons right behind their ship.

"Behind us? I got this." Osprey flipped a switch and pressed a button on his control panel. She could see a bomb fly out from under their ship. It blew up as the enemies flew by it, destroying two starships.

She laughs maniacally in response, firing at the last ship as best as she could.

She finally destroyed it and they cleared out the starships. Osprey flew towards the mothership. "There's a few trying to board the ship, we need to stop them, then we can relax, although you seem to enjoy this."
