Chapter 2- The foothills 7:00 PM Near the snowbound village https://youtu.be/YahLsNN0qkM After a long hike up the mountain, the group that would help the snowbound village found the same village. It was high up on a flatter part of the mountain. All around were small cabins where people lived. Outside to greet them was Nivis, the leader of the village. He wore his light coat as it was still a bit cold up on the mountain. He also had his mask over his face. Once the group got closer, he pulled it down so they could see his face. He had a slightly pale face and a dark beard. The plan was for the group to go down the mountain to the foothills where Vespertilio's army was marching from. They would scout the area and figure out what their enemy was using for their weapons and soldiers. Nivis was open for questions.
Open for mountain group
• Derrick caught on, but there wasn't enough snow to start anything major. He grabbed a large rock instead. "Help me push this, we can put a few of these in their way."

  • She nods, helping Derrick push the boulder toward where the tanks were.

  • The boulder fell with other large rocks, and they could hear commotion from below as they tumbled down. Derrick grabbed her again and continued up the mountain until they reached the village. Nivis was waiting for them. "Thanks for helping hold them back. Now we can prepare for what's coming." It seemed odd that he said that. The village looked easily outgunned compared to the oncoming enemy.

  • She was...well, surprised was an understatement. She pointed back at the tanks...then up at the village...then at herself, Derrick and Nivis. She asked if the three were seriously going to defend the entire village against tanks.

  • Nivis shook his head. "I forget that people don't know about our past. Follow me..." He began walking through the village towards the steep mountainside at the end of it.

  • She followed, seemingly looking around the place to see who exactly was there...just so that she knows who's friend and foe.

The villagers all seemed friendly as they went around helping each other move things and prepare for an attack. Although it was odd considering almost none were armed. Finally, Nivis took them to the mountainside where there was a giant jagged stony wall. On it was a tall pile of rocks that he stood in front of. "Here we are..." He turned around. "Neither of you have gotten to see this before, so I hope you're prepared..." Nivis pulled out a remote and pressed a button. The rocks fell perfectly into a pathway leading to large metal double doors with the letters "KRAC" on them.
