"Nah, I just don't tend to sleep with shitty assassins. Not the most dexterous in the streets, kid, might mean the same in the bed," JT said with a sarcastic tone, as he poured Dusk a glass of water. He figured that she would need something to drink, and a cold water would get some of her senses going again. He brought it to her and set it on the coffee table, before he took a seat in a chair not too far off.

She took big gulp of water. "Assumptions. Heh. People tend to make a lot of those," she muttered.

"Alright, so you get shot twice and wake up in the house of A, the man who notoriously happens to be a cop, and B, someone who can easily kill you right here and now? Yeah, I'd say that makes for a pretty shitty assassin."

"You have your point," she sighed, "I did pretty bad compared to some other times."

"Yeah. Look kid, take it from someone who's survived in this game a lot longer 'an you have - Get some training, and for the love of god don't let me catch you."

"Alright, you made your point," she told him. She seemed annoyed by this. She muttered, almost too quiet to hear as she stood up, "Never thought I'd get an official criminal record on a planet where I traded 'permanent' deaths with an NCR Ranger."

"And which ranger was that, exactly?" JT asked. He was amused and intrigued, though he knew this type - Stubborn beyond all hope, so he would need to seem intimidating to threaten an answer out of her. He stood from the seat he was previously in and drew his revolver, aiming it at her back. He had no intent to shoot, he just wanted to know.

"I never knew. Well, I'm not even sure if it was an NCR Ranger. I didn't know what it was. All I knew was that who and whatever it was was dead, my Ghost was gunned down, and I had taken a bullet in the wrong place."

"Aight, take a mother-blam!-in' seat."

She sat back down.

"Now, was the -blam!-er named Grant, by any chance? Have any 42's on his armour?"

"I barely remember," she admitted.

"Well you best do it, kiddo."

"Seriously, my memories of that day are fuzzy."

"Heavy drinking I assume?"

"No... I just... don't remember it as vividly." Dusk sighed.

"Lush, do you have any info on that day?" JT asked, lowering the gun.

"I short circuited before I was drained dead," Lush said.

"How in San Hell are you here then?"

"Apparently my twin sister is powerful. Really damn powerful," Dusk said, "She managed to revive me like she was Mercy from Overwatch."

"Oh don't tell me you -blam!-s got revival magic now?"

"I don't know. I think it's just my sister," she told him.

"Special snowflake then? Alright, that's all I needed. Go on."

"About what?" Dusk asked.

"About information, I got all I needed."

"Alright then, I better be on my way," she sighed.
